I have a x1 mechanical mod I can get the build to work really well on it but the positive tip of the battery gets hot after like 3 rips. if im using a brand new battery it wont get half as hot but this only last a few days. what 18650 battery would be best in a mechanical mod. I'm thinking mu battery drain isn't fast or high enough? is that i thing im a newb.

I've never used a mech mod, but there are several experts on the forum who can answer your question. Can you please let us know which battery you are using? There is also a mech mod article in the FAQ section.

RE: x1 vaporcloudz
If your battery is heating up than you have a problem. Try a different battery. Samsung 25R or LGs are both good on that mech. Battery safety is not understood well by many. First a battery does not last longer than 5-6 months on a mech before it starts to become unsafe especially if you only use the same two all the time. Also battries should not be switched between mods. Keep your mech battery for that mech. If your tip is getting hot check that the wrap is not damaged as well. Also a battery will get hot chain vaping at times. Let the mod rest and cool if starts getting hot. Is your X1 authentic? I have the VCM (also by vaper cloudz) and its a beautiful device. What atomizer are you using? Some attys transfer more heat to the mod than others. How low is your build? We need more information to fully answer your inquiry.
