hi guys I need help
I was vaping on my alien the other day and the screen went black it went off it aint in stealth mode I do know I could still use it then it just went dead day after it was only 4 months old so I took it back to were I bought it all the shop guy said he would look at it so I left it there the next day I went back and the guy said when the screen goes blank it is no good and scrap I said I had only had it 4 months he was no help at all I said I was no longer gonna come to buy my juices from them he just said sorry he couldn't help waste of time I was wondering if anyone had had similar problem if so could anyone help

I am not sure what the warranty is on the Alien, but you could try going here and contacting someone about a warranty claim

SMOK has a 90 day warranty

Sorry to hear it. Shops are hit and miss when it goes past the warranty since they are under no obligation. My local stood tall when I had problems with a mod I got from them, which I did not expect. Actually, the owners were not there when I went in; I had built a level of customer/clerk familiarity with the guy who was usually there, and he swapped it out for me. Turns out, the owner was pissed he did that and he actually left shortly afterwards; I don't know if that had anything to do with it. I haven't been back since that dude split.

Wow, well, that was a bit long winded, sorry. Bummed to hear the mod and the shop crapped out on you.

The Alien can be plugged in to update - have you tried doing that. Have you tried taking the batteries out and starting it off from scratch. Anything is worth a try.

Yeah, if you like the mod enough I'd try hooking it up to the PC and see if there's a way to recover it. Or, it's just flat dead. It's not a Wismec, so maybe...

TW, how would you do that. Is there a terminal emulator for mods? Is that what eScribe does?

There is the Arctic Fox firmware. I'm not sure if it supports the Alien or not.

Having checked, it doesn't seem to support Smok mods (yet).

However, there is a firmware update from Smok which may help.
