salon furniture
Thought I'd run this up the old flag pole, see who salutes.
I'm after some salon furniture, most importantly a reception desk. Cheap or used but in good nick. If you have one or know where I could lay my hands on it cost effectively I'd be glad to hear about it.
I've done the obligatory searches that actually turned up some gems, until i add the courier charges Undecided

Missus new business, you know how it goes..

Local auction houses?

Worth finding them and checking out their sales.

RE: salon furniture
have you thought about making one Mike
there are some nice oak, ash etc faced MDF out there for about 40 quid 8ft x 4ft
laminate plinth is cheap enough to
plus you can have it to whatever size you fancy
or maybe  borrow a van or trailer and pick one up to save on the courier

if at first you don't succeed ,call it version 1.0

RE: salon furniture
I did think of it Bob... but time and tooling wait for no man. I lost 90% of my power tools and never got round to replacing them, even if I did I've no time to use them now.
