RE: review Dream bt804 extended rebuildable atomiser
no, its a bottom feeder, at the very base of the coil/wick mount there are two slots cut vertically, the original idea is that the wicks sit in these slots that open out into the base of the tank and collect the juice, the access holes are too small though and it vapour locks.

I screwed the bell on, marked where the slots end up, then removed the bell and filed two half moons into the base of the bell, now there is a bigger opening for the fluid to seep into.

It feeds by the vacuum created when you draw on the drip tip then equalises, with the new openings, when you have finished your draw, if you look in the tank, you see a bubble forming at each slot, indicating the fluid is actually seeping back into the wicks.

I also ended up with a 1.9ohm coil, bit higher than I would have liked but its working well with a freer draw and plenty of vapour and flavour. Its vaping as well as the davide glassomiser now so I'm well pleased.

Thanks for the explanation buddy. I think I see now.. when you put the pics up it should be easy to get a grip on it.

I'm glad you got it vaping to the stage you're happy with it.

yeah pics will help......I'm vaping frantically so I can take some lol I'm most of the way through the tank so I should be able to post some tomorrow.

bottom feeders are still my favourite design though I want to try a few Genesis style atomisers and see how I like them, new mods first though, I feel the draw of the mechanical

ok.

you can see the atomiser here with the tank removed. The wick is poking out from the slot in the base, you can also see that the little semi circle I filed has more than doubled the opening the fluid must travel through.

here is the atomiser head with coil and wicks, the air hole vents directly below the coil and wicks so all air must travel over the coil and up the chimney to the drip tip. you can also see the wick slots, on reassembly I just wrapped the wicks around the step so I can see if it improves matters or just allows it to flood.

Here is the bell or chimney or chamber, this screws onto the atomiser head and sits inside the tank completely submerged......for a few minutes till gords gets hold of it anyway.

And here it is screwed back down, the semicircles dropping back over the slots, it just needs the tank screwing back on and refilling, with milky coffee in this instance, its 16mg so I'll be floating around by the time you read this on a nicotine high lol.
