review Dream bt804 extended rebuildable atomiser
I received this rebuildable atomiser today.

http://www.stealthvape.co.uk/rebuildable...4-EXTENDED

Along with .2mm kanthal wire and the Eygptian wick (I'll have to find the link for that) I was set for my first wick and coil assembly.

I'd read up on the atomiser and found this trove of information

http://www.planetofthevapes.co.uk/forums...tealthvape

which helped immensely with it working like a champ right from the start, building the coil and wick turned out to be real easy, cook kanthal with lighter, wrap tightly around one strand of wick and assemble

heres the pins and a used wick/coil, it wasn't playing nice with a thick vg based fluid

here's the base of the atomiser

the two pins drop into the outer holes, centre hole is the air hole, I may at some point try dual coils and wicks

here's a blurred image of the new coil and three wicks (its getting cold in the gords cave)

those wicks will be wrapped clockwise around the base of the atomiser, then the bell is screwed on, here's the outcome

I'm trying it on a thin orange flavoured liquid and it seems good, we'll see how I feel after I've put a tank through it.

this is definitely not a stealth tank, infact to be blunt its 'kin huge

but I was prepared for that when I ordered, and after the first vape, and the trial run I'm on now, that really doesn't bother me in the slughtest, its an easy draw despite the small air hole, and that airhole vents directly below the coil and wick. The result is an intense hit of flavour without a harsh throat it, and its practically silent, not an accusation I can level at either my vivi nova (when it works...) or my ce4 derivatives. I'm running it at 1.6ohm and 11watts and its just perfect, with my favourite strawberry milkshake juice, I'm just blown away, once its empty I'll get back with further break down pictures and thoughts on running it near empty but for now, this atomiser is definitely

Gords approved.

RE: review Dream bt804 extended rebuildable atomiser
it took me two attempts to coil and wick it. the first, the coil came out at .7ohm, too low for my vamo bur a mech mod and imr would have run it, the second coil has settled at 1.6ohm and is working fine today.

I have had some flooding, but I think that's my fault and learning the tanks foibles, I suspect that once the wick is soaked, its unnecessary to do the inverted lid fitting when filling, I think you purely have to do that to prime a dry wick, once I've emptied it again, I'll know for sure.

The reason I wasn't getting long from a fill was, um......I wasn't filling it lol, only filling the polymer tank section.......it does seriously suck both liquid and electrons on my set up, I would prefer it on the lumintop mod johnnymac suggested lol.

That said, flavour production and vapour remains awesome and I cant burn fluid or wick even at 15watts, how much is down to the wick I'm trying and how much is down to the tank? I don't know, I'll try some of the supplied wick at some point to see what difference it makes.

the pins worried me at first, but they actually make coiling for a noob extremely easy, just burn kanthal with a lighter, wrap tightly around the wick then set the legs in the tapered holes, figure out your length and then cut off the excess. drop the legs back in and, using needle nose pliers, push the tapered pins in, dead easy.

I've hardly touched my ce4 equipped mod today, it just doesn't do it for me now.

review finished, I shall update as I put some miles on itt now, I've just got an order from vampire vapes.

this thing is seriously easy to coil and wick, twebty minutes to do including snapping pictures and cleaning it out.

Fantastic review Graham, thanks very much. I have to admit I do like the look of it and the ease of rebuilding it.

Nice one mate, how's the vape now after the rebuild ?

RE: review Dream bt804 extended rebuildable atomiser
ok. I did a little modding today, no pictures as yet because I'm testing it out.

Basically I filed two half moons in the bell to allow more liquid to the wicks, id been having to release the top cap to let it breathe every once in a while, and I opened the air holes out to 1.5mm, its much improved, I've also re coiled and wicked it slightly differently, seems to be working well for me. I'll update this with pictures when I next need to fill it.

I'm looking forward to the pics Graham. I'm curious how the juice feeds to the wicks, do they push up an into the tank above ?
