I received a shipment of coils for my evod and they are definitely shorter than the ones I've purchased at bm store!!! Is this normal? Are the the right ones?

RE: please help......
I really couldn't say. I'd try one of them and see if it works properly.

RE: please help......
Stem length doesn't matter as much as the stem diameter and the threads, screw it in and see if it will fit down into the center air shaft, the o-ring is what seats and prevents leaking

RE: please help......
Sounds to me like you may have received an off brand. The best thing is to take your clearomizer to a decent store and let them sell you the proper factory matched coil. If you are not getting any leaks or gurgling it could just be a bad coil and trying a new one may help. I have had bad coils right out of the box on occasion.

RE: please help......
Did you give it some time for the juice to soak through before vaping it?  Give it a few primer puffs first.  What pg / vg ratio of juice do you have?

RE: please help......
Don't let a few dry puffs put you off from vaping, it's relatively common to get some dry hits every now and then, especially when you're not used to the gear you're using. As bubba said, a few primer puffs will often clear this right up. If you don't know what that is, basically it just means suck on the atty without firing it. This pulls juice into the coils. If you're using high VG juice, it takes longer to pull the juice into the coils since the juice is much thicker, so you might need to turn the wattage down a bit. Or if all else fails, try just waiting a few minutes to let the juice soak in before vaping. Also, are the new coils the same resistance as your old ones? One common mistake is to leave the settings on your mod the same when changing resistance. This is a no-no, lower resistance requires less power so if you leave it on the same settings as before, you're likely to keep getting dry hits.

Hope that helps!
