RE: non-vaper in need of advice
It all depends on use, as I vape I can say around a week to three weeks, but I guess you'd use it differently so I've no idea. A week would be a safe bet so stock up on coils based on that.

Do they break down over time, if they're installed, used for say 10 minutes, and then get packed away for a month?
Sorry for the dumb questions... I know less than nothing about these things.

Yes! If the battery is fully charged or depleted and left for a month it can damage the cell, also if you leave the tank full of vg/pg it can absorb moisture and produce little if any vapour.
These things need regular use, but, there is a 'nominal' storage voltage to leave the battery for long periods, it should say in the instructions what that is.
Empty the tank, dry the coil and it should go again.

I have to say I find what you do most entertaining, if you could leave us with a video of your performance I'd/we'd be very grateful Smile

I saw a guy doing this using a cigar, maybe a cigarette? has to be 15+ years ago on a variety show. Wish I could remember more about it because I'd look for a video of it. He was awesome! You wouldn't happen to know the names of the maestro's would you?

I wish I had any video footage of my act!  Mostly it's geared towards kids and teaching them very basic science/physics without them realizing that they're learning... oh, and the gentleman you're undoubtedly referring to is Tom Noddy.
He's not just an amazingly talented variety performer, he's THE original bubble guy!  He started it all, back in the late 60s-early 70s.  He's also a really nice guy and tells the BEST stories. Smile  I keep telling him that, if he ever stops touring, he needs to write his memoirs.  It would be a best seller, for sure!

I have a hard time calling it "work" while keeping a straight face...it's too much fun to be work. Big Grin
