modding mods
Saw a thread about modding mods but I can't find it now so I'm dumping this here Biggrin




Fixed a few issues with my raptor recently..
1st issue, it was like licking a 9v battery every time my lip came into contact with the atty.
2nd issue, poor firing from the button after a month of heavy use.
The fix...

An earth strap from switch to body. Hand made braid of stripped 3 core flex, then flattened with soldered ends.
Fixing it to the button like that made the button petrude toward the + pin so...

I put a flat on the opposing connector.

Problems gone.

And for a mod that hit hard it's now hitting harder!

So far I only mod my tanks, lol.  Nice job!

Remind one liberal per day, that laws affect only the law-abiding.
