I haven't been on there in quite a while. Got a happy birthday email from them a few days ago. Really good site, though of course not as awesome as TVF Tongue

As to the original question of how to mod a flashlight... Some folks on there have completely built lights from the ground up, milling the metal tube and all that fun stuff. I wish I had the time and the tools to do something like that. For me, I've replaced LEDs in a few lights or bought pre-made empty lights and put my own LEDs and drivers in them, I stick to the basic stuff since I'm not as skilled or knowledgeable as some of the folks on there, but for $10 I can replace an LED and driver and have a better light than some would pay $100 for at a sporting goods store.
