Get yourself a roll of Teflon tape. Wrap it tight around the post. It insulates and will conform to whatever shape it get compressed into. It won't stick and can be redone if needed later.

RE: iStick trouble
Is that the same kind of stuff you use in plumbing, like screwing on a shower head? If so I think I have some lying around the house someplace. I'll see if I can find it.

Yes, same stuff. Unaffected by both water and oil.

That is the best idea - try a small elastic band wrapped round it.

RE: iStick trouble
Help!! I have tried everything with my Istick. I keep getting "no atomizer" What's up with that?

Well I tried a little trouble shooting. I don't why but I decided to change to a new coil, and it work immediately. I have only had the Atlantis for 36 hours. Can a coil go bad that soon??

Well Its gone again. I don't understand. I have filled this tank 5 or 6 times. I am very careful not to crank down on the battery.

RE: iStick trouble
The only times I've had my i50 say "no atomizer", it was a bad coil/bad connection.  I don't have an Atlantis, so I dunno if you're making your own coils or using prefab units; if you're on a rebuildable, check your post screws.  If using prefab coils - might have a bad one.  Sometimes they're bad out of the box.

I'm using the one that came with it in the box.
