Tab keeps crashing on mobileĀ Dodgy

I'm surprised the humble vape isn't an alien mind control device in the huffington..

Yes, the government is always looking out for the best interests of the public.

According to David Sweanor of the University of Ottawa's Centre for Health Law, Policy and Ethics, if Bill S-5 to amend Canada's Tobacco Act is adopted, it will "make it illegal for a company to tell smokers that lower-risk products are, well, lower risk."

RE: huffingtonpost.ca story
Correct, shops can't make comparisons or lean opinion in one direction - this of course doesn't stop the vape industry from mounting a bunch of campaigns to circumvent the restrictions and act entirely legitimately in plastering the correct proper message everywhere.

I've had numerous people approach me and ask for for clarification on vape truth from myth....many ask and then ask for recommendation on gear they want to get for a loved one....as an industry we just need to find a group of trustworthy ambassadors to put in the front lines as the honest, genuine face of a healthier alternative....yes with an agenda but without political leanings or corporate backers with self serving agendas....this is the impossible missing component that big tobacco doesn't have an issue with - how to fund an expensive campaign/battle.

Nothing is impossible, it will require a creative approach and some serious planning. Unfortunately, such ventures require $$$$ and those who can afford it, aren't interested and those interested can't afford it....quite the contrast from big tobacco who are easily able to fund the fight as it is the fight for their very survival....I remain optimistic that the underdog will win out....

Earlier this week I was a gas station and tobacco products were concealed (as required by law) while starter vape kits and a selection of e-juice was front and centre on the counter next to the cash register...

You're right about the money thing, but think about, what if there was an advocacy group that actually for and with the vaping community? Something that we could all get behind. The, if every vaper out there only gave a few bucks or even a buck. What could be done then? I think the greatest problem is many vapers themselves more than the law. We all love vaping. We all love the newest mods and tanks. But what we don't necessarily love is the fight to keep what we love. It's easier to sit back quietly and do nothing than to expend the energy to take a stand. I think that those of us who care and have a passion for this need to somehow instill in others the same passion. Just my thoughts.

RE: huffingtonpost.ca story
OhmTop, vapers are like everyone else......they are concerned and interested in that which is around them but expect someone else will fight the fight....

Yes, if every person who vapes tossed in a few $$$$ it would be something.....and many would however vapers and the community is not organized in the least.... big pharm has a bottomless pit of resources .....they have realized what it at risk.....
