RE: eLeaf still sucks
I've had a similar problem with my iStick 20W, back when they first came out I got one and after a couple months, the insulator between the floating pin (positive) and the threading (negative) got shredded, so it would short out if I screwed an atty in too far. Then a month or two later, the spring under the 510 broke, so it wouldn't even pop back up once I unscrewed the atty, so it was in constant contact making a short even without an atty. My local shop guarantees their stuff for a month, so it was past warranty, but they offered to put a new insulator in there to see if that fixed it. It was just never worth it to me to try. I've got two iStick 50Ws that work great. It seems their quality is hit-or-miss, you might get lucky and get one that's well made with no problems, or you might get a lemon. I've stopped recommending iSticks, now that there are better inexpensive mods like the SuBox or MVP3.

I will no longer stock E leaf mods. They leave the retailer holding the bag with no recourse. Essentially (in the USA) there is no warranty. I've lost hundreds replacing them.

RE: eLeaf still sucks
Well, after having my Kanger box for a week now, I'm kind of glad the eleaf broke. This box is a beast! I saturated the cotton on my mutation v2 built to .3 ohms, and could not hit hard enough to dry the cotton at 90 watts. It's been a long time since a vape choked me out, but it did. Plus it works well with my atlantis tank for work and my herakles tank for road trips. Bit of a learning curve initially, but still a great device!

Not a fan of trying to work with it in TC mode with titanium wire, because it seems to get too hot too fast, but in other modes it works well.

RE: eLeaf still sucks
E leaf leaves it to the retailer (what they call distributor) and then leaves the retailer hanging. I'm working down my stock of E leaf products and will probably no longer carry them. To much hassle for little return.

Im wondering... Know the sale of goods act in UK, and even more clearer if you read up on the E.U rules. However I continue to see companies selling these devices with 30 days on a battery and just a little longer on a full mod kit.. other than the distance selling (14 days) they all don't give at least 12 months?

@BioHazardCustoms, sorry to hear of your problem, and hope your able to get it fixed by the people you bought it from. Is there no way of you fixing it ?. Hope you get it sorted

RE: eLeaf still sucks
EU law says it can be 2 years. For a consumer.

But the issue is with the retailer who has no protection for their purchases from the manufacturer or wholesaler. Does tend to mean they won't stock stuff they end up having to replace too often.

RE: eLeaf still sucks
Poor design and/or bad QC coupled with a serious lack of support for their business customers, sadly means a slow death of a once promising new company with some great innovation.

The vape market seems to be waiting for no-one, so they only have themselves to blame... Shame really.
