Nutty is 97 years old and has atrophied lungs. This is why he thinks MTL is the tough one (he dares not try DL for fear he will toss out his lungs).

I was talking to this older guy whom had been a smoker for over 30 years. He had this sort of philosophy that long time analog smokers are better off switching to vaping rather than just quitting cold turkey. He has been vaping for a few years now and said he feels great. He says that if you just quit cold turkey your lungs will "atrophy" and that's what would have happened to him by now and he would be a lot worse off. The way he explained it, just kind of made sense at the moment but I can't seem to remember the details now. Anyway it was interesting point of view.
