RE: chocolate flavor base
Not sure where my local shop gets their flavors but they have a chocolate mint that kicks butt. More choc taste than mint but the mint is mixed in just right, choc flavor comes through awesome.

RE: chocolate flavor base
Problem I have found with chocolate flavors is, they do taste like chocolate for sure. Thing is, they taste like baker's cocoa powder which is too harsh and bitter for me. I would love a nice milk chocolate flavor base if one exists. A malted milk bar or a Butterfinger would be awesome.

RE: chocolate flavor base
The problem with chocolate is that much of the experience is the "mouthfeel" caused by the fats in chocolate. This is not replicable in juice.

Agreed, but the bitterness could be worked out I would think, anyway.

RE: chocolate flavor base
Enough sweetener should do this. It works in chocolate after all.

I remember chatting online to a dessert chef who made juice. He said he'd given up on trying to get a chocolate juice. But then he was ultra-picky about chocolate, of the many brands he said were edible, none were cheap and I'd only ever heard of one of them.

RE: chocolate flavor base
I think I'll attempt a chocolate juice recipe tonight. I've been thinking about it for a while, I think what could work is some Capella's Double Fudge Brownie, with a hefty helping of Sweet Cream and a dash of Vanilla. Isn't that essentially what chocolate is anyway, cocoa with cream and sugar and vanilla? It wouldn't be possible to get it 100% right, but I think I could get it close. (yes, I realize I have a gigantic ego)

RE: chocolate flavor base
Question is, if one should be able to mute the bitterness why hasn't anyone been successful (up until tonight that is, when Michael busts through the glass ceiling)? eLiquid has been around long enough now for someone to have done it. Milk chocolate, that's what I want!!!!
