chart comparing smoking to vaping?
Anyone stumbled across a comparison between what's in cigs to what's in e-cigs? I am looking for literature to help educate friends.

RE: chart comparing smoking to vaping?
There are 4-5000 compounds identified in cigarette smoke. From vapour there are far fewer -= some water, some propylene glycol, some vegetable glycerine, some nicotine and that's about it. Check any smoking and health website for a list of the horrors in tobacco smoke.

Here's quite a lot of stuff from my employer. http://www.nhs.uk/Search/Pages/Results.aspx?q=Smoker

TVF tested battery info to be found here

RE: chart comparing smoking to vaping?
Here is an FDA list of bad stuff from burning cigs.  http://www.fda.gov/TobaccoProducts/Guida...297786.htm   That is like their top list of bad stuff.

Here is a study on E-Cig smoke: http://publichealth.drexel.edu/~/media/f...h/ms08.pdf
And below is their verdict.

Conclusions
By the standards of occupational hygiene, current data do not indicate that exposures to vapers from contaminants in
electronic cigarettes warrant a concern. There are no known toxicological synergies among compounds in the aerosol,
and mixture of the contaminants does not pose a risk to health.
