They didn't exist round here till quite recently. And I make my own juice and source my mods and atomisers from where's cheapest which is not going to be local shops. That said, where possible, I prefer to source stuff from the UK so I get it the same month/quarter/year I ordered it. But if FT is cheaper.....
The real world vape shop is over priced.  Their batteries were just about double what I could find online. But it was nice being able to discuss vaping stuff with a real life person.  I got to show off my knowledge I got from this forum.  It's nice not sounding stupid.  He was showing me how to batteries in the IPV5, and I asked if he'd seen the IPV6.  I words like cell and DTL.  And the uwell crown is his favorite atty.

I'm watching the batteries charge.  I may take a nap.

Unfortunately I see that a lot, younger folks just assuming the older folks have no idea what they're doing, but think about this: the VAST majority of people on this forum are at least 35-40, I think there's only two or three of us in our twenties, and the older folks know way more than I do.
Basically, what I'm trying to say is I think stereotyping is the big problem, I've seen it happen too.

From the fact she was an business executive I made the assumption she could handle something a tad more complicated than an ecig - would almost consider it an insult to suggest one, that said would never have suggested a mech unit - the concept still intimidates me a tad.... yes age stereotyping has always and will always be something society deals with.

Their loss, not mine.
On the other hand, if my 84 year old mother wanted to vape, she'd find an eGo type device over complicated. My mother is infamous for failing to operate any known gadget. I lent her my Kindle for 3 months before getting her one. But I still have to help her buy books on it. Two years later...
Fortunately she never smoked.

We went through that with my mother-in-law when she had to upgrade her cellular phone....then one day I'm visiting and we are talking about something or other and she says "give me a sec, I can do the google on my new phone and get the info"...coffee almost came out of my nose. Good

They just got a new car and I have to go over and configure the bluetooth and wifi in it.... Scratch_one-s_head

That is quite impressive....I've been vaping for 3 months and 6 days and have been in 7 vape shops....I jokingly always say to people that I'm european, I need to see things with my hands! Not insult intended to the europeans on this forum! Blush I know many people shop online and are always pleased with the experience but the hassle of returns is beyond my OCD capabilities....getting a return authorization code, packaging, shipping, waiting for a received verification, getting the credit applied, ordering a new item, etc....my blood pressure is climbing just typing the process up...Sarcastic_hand

I'll be ordering my juice mix items online (they are located 4 hours away and I actually considered driving there in person) but the benefit to buying locally for me has been that any issues/problems/questions, I know the local shop will always happily assist without fail...if it means paying a few $$$ more for that, it would likely be the shipping cost anyway... i.e.: I've priced out the battery charger online vs the local shop - the difference is $7 but unless I order any additional $14 of product to get free shipping, the shipping was $8....so in this case by buying locally should I have any issue or problem I can simply walk in the door with the item and it will be exchanged or diagnosed without hassle....Good

What 35-40? You are just kids still. Wait till you pass 60 .... you should see the looks I get at a new vape store walking ion with my series mods and blowing clouds. Hilarious.

Can you see me?

You'd need a sedative after dealing with the lady at the head shop where I bought my batteries.  I'm a long time shopper.  It's usually fill out the return label and pop it in the mail.  There is another vape shop, a little further away I need to check out.  Hang out at the juice bar.  Look cool with my IPV5.  I made the right choice there.  The shop had RX200 mods, they did not fit into my hand.

Still waiting for my $30 batteries to charge.  How long does it usually take?  I bought a stupid charger, so it only has one charging speed, slow. Help
