I'm open minded but with the cells I'm using and my modded clone, I'm dropping .28v at .3ohm. For me, vct4 cells are not the be all and end all, there are better options available.

Modded private v2 clone (yeah telescopic mods give shit volt drop......) samsung inr18650 15m cells. 22amp limit. I'm going to try some inr 18650 20r cells at some point, in torch world they have the lowest internal resistance so the lowest volt drop under load, I just need to check yhey have the 20amp limit I think they have.

When life hands you lemmons , make lemmon aid . When life hands you coconuts , stuff them in your shirt and ask if they make your boobs look big .

I love the idea of converting an old cell phone! I agree about the old antenna versions...replace the antenna with an atty Big Grin

RE: box mod ideas thread
ok i bought a 6600mah charger pack , trying to get in to it now .
the thought is if this can be modified it should be powerful enough for all purpose vaping .
this will take some thought , i may be a bit over my head on this one.

RE: box mod ideas thread
I am not an electrical, mechanical creative type. I have build a few things here and there during my lifetime, like a fence, gate, dog house and have used pre-built items to upgrade something else. Bolting something on to replace/upgrade a motor or install a garage door opener, I can do that. I have never tried my hand at building something like a mod box or anything electrical for that matter. Yet, here I am wondering....hhmmm.....could I do this? I drive a 2004 Jeep, no doors and just a bikini top. I do have a cup holder in the center console. Yes, I know they make "cup holder adapters" for various box mod's and in different sizes, but I was thinking "How about this as a box mod?" It would fit nicely in the cup holder and definitely draw some looks for other drivers (while I am still on the paved roads).

RE: box mod ideas thread
hi jeff
one of these would be easy enough to convert into a mod that would fit in your cup holder Good

if at first you don't succeed ,call it version 1.0
