Nice work so far Graham. I like your idea on the simple carrier for the cells. I'm intrigued to see how you make the 510 connector. That my biggest gripe, the 510's are a nightmare lol

I've got a plan and I think its diy doable, I'm not up to doing much tonight though, going to return my tools to the van ready for tomorrow and get some mixing done, I'm almost out of liquid. I'll add these though.

Just to show roughly what direction I'm heading in.

Yeah its bloody small, but then its meant to be able to fit in an 18650 tube as well as a box, its like a nanjg board, you don't realise how small it is till you get hold of one.

Cool pics

It's that small? Sarcastic_hand

Sounds like what she said.

If the natural tendencies of mankind are so bad that it is not safe to permit people to be free, how is it that the tendencies of these organizers are always good? Do not the legislators and their appointed agents also belong to the human race? Or do they believe that they themselves are made of a finer clay than the rest of mankind?

That's coming along nicely Graham.  Be careful with the DNA screen ribbon though, buggers have a tendency to snap if put under too much stress.  I have seen a few build end in tears and a postal trip to America for fixing.

Yeah. One of the reasons this is on hold is I want one of the dna holders from shapeworks. The screen and board seems to clip into them solving that issue, phils probably going to end up with this because I dont even dip to 20watts now when my cells are flat lol

I use 16 ish watts when I'm out and about so I don't cause freak weather systems on Market Street.

20 watts on a decent regulated chip like this is good though.  I thought I was getting 30 watts from a mech on an efest 18650 until I stuck probes in the pos and neg screws of a dripper and realised that even with a perfectly clean and good mech mod and 0.8 ohm single coil, you're going to be dropping 0.4volts under load even with things like the Sony VTC4s if everything isn't 100% optimal.  That's why I started to pursue the regulated and stacked route; I didn't want to disappear down the ever falling sub ohm rabbit hole.

Plus you might be surprised at how good a 1 ohm coil at 20 watts with a smidge of cotton through it vapes.
