Thumbs Down better batteries?
I recently purchased two ego c-twist batteries, and spent over 30 bucks a piece on both of them. I got a exchange for one 1100 mah and received a 1300 mah e c-twist. After a week or so I dropped the 1300 mah ego c-twist battery and the  button got mashed in, which was no big deal at first since I knew I could take the casing off the battery and fix the button (As I had learned with previous ego batteries.)  And then it happened... I dropped the 1300 mah ego c-twist on my friends carpet floor and the button smashed into the casing again. I proceeded to take off the casing, and tried repeatedly to fix the button and the damn black black wire snapped, and now the battery wont work.

So my question is...

Is there any 510 threaded batteries out there that don't come apart like the ego batteries do? Any suggestion but Ego batteries will do me good. I'm tired of spending money on these damn things...

RE: better batteries?
I'd say if it's in your budget you might want to consider something like this

http://www.eleafus.com/eleaf-istick.html

Whiskey on here recently managed to get hold of some but they're all pre-order now which is a PITA...

If you can manage to get by until next week, that is a bargain, especially considering the price you paid for your eGo's.

My personal recommendation would be to just skip the foreplay and get yourself a nice vv/vw mod. Maybe an iTazte MVP2 or VV. It's not a whole lot more expensive, and you'll be more happy with it in the long run. Just my two cents.

RE: better batteries?
Maybe Whiskey will chime in but AFAIK the istick laughs in the face of the MVP....

Ah Yeah I didn't see your post before me, you're right the istick seems to be an upgraded version of the mvp.

Hrmmm it definitely seems interesting. Though I'm not sure how the aesthetics would feel holding a box instead of a cylinder shaped battery... I'd pick one up if they weren't out of stock. Are there any other suggestions?

RE: better batteries?
The box feels great, I used one for over six months. The Vamo is another great VV/VW mod, though it's a bit more involved since it needs a separate battery. Honestly I'd say your best bet would be to go to a reputable vape shop (and by "reputable" I mean one that's good and trustworthy, preferably a dedicated vape shop, not just a tobacco shop that happens to sell ecigs) and see what they have. Ask them for a recommendation, and if you don't trust them 100% you can always ask here about particular mods. At least, that's my opinion since I've always had great experiences with my local shops.

I live in a small city, and we dont have a vape store around here. I purchase all my vaping needs online. I might just got with the box ... but its sold out Sad

RE: better batteries?
You might check around other sites. I don't know about that particular mod specifically, but I know a lot of shops have their own website stores where you can find a lot of great stuff, so one of them might have that mod in stock. It would be worth looking into, anyway.

After a quick Google search, I found this site to pre-buy the istick: http://www.smoke-evolution.com/Eleaf-iSt...istick.htm

Just to show that different sites carry the same products. This site actually shows the istick next to the MVP for size comparison, and it looks much smaller and might ease your apprehension toward the fact that it's a box since it's small enough to fit in even the daintiest hands.
