battery safety and amp limits
Having recoiled my new ikarus hybrid, the puny little 18350 cells didn't seem to be lasting very long.....curious, I got out the fluke to confirm what I suspected.

Yep, .6ohm, that'll teach me for assuming I knew my wire, I used .4x.1 ribbon hoping to push up the resistance, probably lucky I did, on my usual ribbon i'd have been well into sub ohm territory, I used my vaping tool to check out the theoretical amp draw and wattage, trying to be optimistic with the volt drop to see the worst case scenario for current.

This then led me to look up amp limits on my cells to confirm its ok. I found this from pbusardo's site. I may nit like his reviews but I trust his integrity so figured I'd post the link to hopefully help others too.

Remember,  vape safe, I got dammed blasé and it could have ended in tears.

As it is, I'll recoil it when christmas day is done, imo its unnecessary to be thid close to safe limits and stressfull on the cells, I was after a 1ohm build so I'll add a few more coils next time
