RE: advice and what to get??
First - get something in a regulated mod.  This means it has buttons to control output, instead of just a fire button.

Second - get something with more power than you need, so you can grow into it later.

Third - get something you'll actually USE - a size and shape that works for you and your lifestyle.

These things led me to the iStick 30 and 50; other people go to other things.  Ask more questions, look around a lot.

Hi and welcome PayneTrain.

For that budget you have lots of choices.

I'd second AJ's advice. It really does depend on your personal taste.

I know lots of vapers who never go beyond 10W. I never go that low...

Sounds as if you are wanting vpour - AJ's advice is good - clouds are not for everyone. Also remember to reduce the Ejuice nicotine level to something pretty low - we don't want you killing yourself by overdosing.Bad

RE: advice and what to get??
^Killing yourself with eVapor is almost impossible, lol.  In fact, it probably IS impossible, as by the time you inhale enough to be halfway to lethal, you'd pass out.  And any juice with that much nic would taste like raw burning asshole anyway.

However yes - watch your nic levels at higher power levels, you CAN make yourself very dizzy and get a nasty headache if you overdo it.

Personally, I recomend to everyone, the iStick 30 or 50 with one of the new "supertanks".  You can run it at low power as a beginner, and it'll grow with you if you develop a taste for this stuff.  There's a special sale from one of our vendors right now to get an iStick50 and a Lemo2 together for well unbder $70 shipped IIRC.  That's a SICK deal.  I paid roughly $120 for my iStick50 / SubTank Mini combination with a neat custom tip at a brick & mortar, and frankly I'm totally happy with that.  For $170 you can get everything you need a bunch of other stuff and juice as well, so you're sittin' pretty unless you have some weird urge to get an overpriced custom mech mod.

RE: advice and what to get??
Unless you're dripping or running a .2-.3 ohm sub tank there's no reason to go above 30watts.  That said, the Atlantis 2 can run up to 80 watts.  The Arctic Tank can run up to 100 watts.  (.3 and .2 respectively).

The Lotus LE80 is a great regulated series box that can do it all, and it's affordable at $60-85, depending where you get it.  However, it is not a digital mod, though it does have a digital readout of battery voltage and voltage at the coil.  For a digital box, the Sigelli 150 watt box is just sick.  It outstrips the IPV3 in performance, but not in battery life.

RE: advice and what to get??
In that price range, you can get an iStick 50W and an Arctic tank with a bunch of extra coils and still have some cash left over for juice. That's the best combo in my opinion for someone who wants a kit that won't require a ton of work but will still produce amazing vapor and flavor. It's what I've been using steadily for the past couple of weeks, and it works great. Alternatively, you could get a Sigelei-100W, though with that you'll also need to get a couple 18650 batteries and a charger for them. The iStick charges with a micro-USB port, so you can charge it very easily and there's no need for extra batteries and a separate charger.

RE: advice and what to get??
^Only difference I'd suggest would be a slightly "milder" tank for a beginner.  Something like a SubTank Nano or a Lemo.

RE: advice and what to get??
Good Morning to you all. I have what you might think is a daft question - can you 'ordinary vape' with a sub ohm tank. I have never sub ohm'd but at some point I would like to give it a try. So as not to waste my money can you get coils of 1.6 or 1.8 ohms for the Atlantis and Arctic tanks to enable you to vape 'normally'. This would be my next step if this is possible.
