RE: Xtar VC4S Charger Review
I must say I'm not fond of chargers that require you to produce your own power supply. Especially when it requires an exotic (QC3 is very far from universal) output. Yes, it makes the charger cheaper but not once you have to buy a suitable power supply for it.

USB gets used for a lot of things it is less than optimal for. Chargers are certainly in this category.

It is amazing how few chargers will actually take more than two 26650s (Not an issue for me, I only own 2 26650s)

RE: Xtar VC4S Charger Review
All companies should just make chargers that plug in to the wall sockets, but they will be looking at there cost of getting all the different plugs for it or having the one cable for all. I got the USB power charger so I could use the battery charger at it's full potential for the review and to show the 3A charging with 1 battery and to do that you have to use a QC3.0 USB, you can use a normal USB but it is 2A max for 1 battery, 1A max for 2 and 0.5A for 3 or 4 batteries.
I don't think there is much products that take more than 2 26650/32650 batteries at a time, it is the 21700 batteries that is the issue with the 4 batteries charging at one with not enough room to get them all seated properly, I reckon there will be a 3 or 4 21700 mod out in a couple of years if not sooner.
