I'm with the people saying "keep it respectful".  As as gun guy, the open carry activists in Texas metaphorically shot themselves int he foot - their actions backfired and now businesses all over the state that didn't care before are putting up signs prohibiting carrying firearms AT ALL (even with a conceal permit) on their premises.  I don't want to see vaping go the same way.

Remind one liberal per day, that laws affect only the law-abiding.

So been there! I had one old woman waving her arms around, clearing the "smoke", she put on a cough then shouted at me for choking her.. her husband had a cigarette.
Bizarre world we live in!

not tricky at all , just a matter of mutual respect . even whe smoking was aloud in restaurants i chose not to ,and thoug different i would not use an e-cig either .
if we want others to recognise our rights we must recognise theirs as well and not go about pushing hot buttons . pissing off the general public would poorly advocate our position.

I think its about courtesy and judging your surroundings
I nearly always vape at work (construction sites) as it doesn't bother anyone apart from the odd over enthusiastic health and safety rep who always gets told where to go
if I am working in live offices I always go outside for a chuff
one of the local pubs I go in is a bit rough and ready I always vape inside and no one is bothered by it, they usually lock the doors and get the ashtrays out later on in the evening
the other pub I go in is a bit more normal and even though vaping is allowed I always stand outside for a vape

if at first you don't succeed ,call it version 1.0

I agree, vaping in public should be respectful. Don't vape in stores. Don't vape in restaurants, unless they specifically allow it. I saw a guy vaping as he walked in to church a couple weeks ago, and that bothered me. If it bothers a fellow vaper, then think how much that would bother the church-going people who don't know or care that vaping is safer than smoking. I only vape in public in two places:a local pub that allows vaping, and vape shops.
