Would you use an ecig in a restaurant?
This is a very tricky subject because while legally there is nothing to stop ecigs being used in any public places, would you feel comfortable using one next to food and would/should the restaurant owner allow you to use an ecig?

Regards,

Mark

No, it annoys me when people smoke around food and food preparation area's,  in this instance I view ecigs in the same way, its inappropriate.

I agree with Gords. Even though it's not Smoking, Out of respect for others I wouldn't consider Vaping while people are eating.

I'd have no hesitation Vaping in a Bar or Public house though if the management allowed it.

Oh, in a pub, not at all, no worries there, pubs should have a cloudy atmosphere.

RE: Would you use an ecig in a restaurant?
When a few of us go out for lunch on duty we all use our e-cigs in the restaurant after we eat.
I use my vamo in single 18350 mode and it gets some of the weirdest looks and questions. We never have anyone say anything....................maybe because we all carry guns, tazers, batons and handcuffs.

On the other side I have seen several people use their e-go e cigs in public with a smile after seeing us use our kits.

I think that the stigma attached with using an ecig in public will lift as people become more aware of what they are, what they produce, etc. They are still over shadowed by issues surrounding tobacco cigarettes which is one of the more frustrating things, the fact the media seems unwilling to give electronic cigarette providers a chance to have their say. Yet the mass media is very quick to demonise the industry.

It's all about money, The tobacco industry has been in business for a very long time. Now that they are starting to see a drop in volume due to e cig sales they are pulling out all the stops and calling in all the campaign donation favors to get e cigs demonized and regulated.

I vape anywhere I am. I can't police what people think of me, but if I'M not hurting anyone, who is anyone to judge. I will say it may send the wrong message, but I am just so sick of being P.C., and I feel the need to lash out in small, childlike waysUndecided

RE: Would you use an ecig in a restaurant?
I have been in a few restaurants and have seen people break out and use their vapors. And even while the waiters/waitresses are right there and they never said a word. Then mine comes out and I join them.
I always come back at PC idiots that want to chide me for vaping by telling them I have to smell their breath so they can smell my vape.
