Wismec Presa button faulty
Today I dropped my Wismec Presa TC40W from my bed. When I took a look, everything seemed okay, but after an hour or so, it stopped working. The big button doesn't click, it feels like an oily sound when I click it or like something is blocking it. The +/- buttons are alright, it's only the firing button.
Can I do something? If I take off the screws, can I remove the button to see what is happening inside?
Please, it is something urgent, because I don't have any other mods around and buying another one will take two-three weeks to arrive, and honestly I can't stay that long without vaping

Are you a manually dextrous kinda guy? Could be a bit of debris in there, could be the bi-metal in the switch it's self is damaged. Both can be rectified..

Unscrewed the mod, but I couldn't find a way to remove the "presa button".

Hi Eddie - there is a tiny switch just above the fire button. Make sure it is in the right position - it may have moved when you dropped the mod. This is the switch that shuts the whole mod off completely - I would try switching it on and off a few times - it might just work and there is no harm in trying.

I hear it, something raddles, maybe the button inside is damaged. Such a pity I can't find a way to remove it

Shame your not in the UK or I'd offer to eyeball it for you. Not having one to look at I can't be any real help, other than to say if it went together it'll come apart Wink

Trying to think of a way to get some suitable mod to you, so you could ship your mod to Mike for sorting. I don't think I own anything suitable.

RE: Wismec Presa button faulty
I already ordered the Wismec RX2/3. Plenty of battery and my Triton Mini will look very good on it. I just need some batteries. Dem chinese refuse to send me the 18650 because of new rules. Any place I can get, guys?

http://www.nkon.nl is always a good place to look. They seem to have no problem with their post office.

I'd recommend these as long as they are genuine. Sony batteries seem to be more durable than many others, and have better cycle life.

You will also need a charger, personally I only buy chargers getting a good review from here.

It is not safe to use the USB charging on the RX200 as it does a very poor job and could get the cells into an unsafe state. The three cells in the mod should always be kept together and not used in any other devices.
