Winter coming...caused me to quit vaping last year...advice needed
...My job has me drive from place to place fixing copy machines/printers. Obviously, I cannot take my mod in with me to every(most) places I go.
When left in vehicle for a while, I was afraid to fire it because the tank was so friggin cold I could not touch it to my lips and I also thought it might crack...so I would be forced to light up a cigarette.
Have this phobia about even bringing it inside, in a coat pocket or something, because I am afraid of breaking it or the customer complaining (they complain about things you would not believe!).

Get an inexpensive insulated lunch bag and keep your kit in that. It's worth a try.

...might work, but I work on large equipment and sometimes inside for 4 hours or more. Even insulation cannot overcome. Stl mo winters can have horrible wind chills sometimes...wonder what the folks up in Alaska and other places do?

You could put your mod in a case then stick it in your tool box/ laptop bag /lunch box or whatever you take inside with you Smile

if at first you don't succeed ,call it version 1.0

In the winter I always carry a mod in my jacket's inside breast pocket. No one has ever noticed, including my parents who don't know I vape. If the customer doesn't ever see it, they can't complain about it, and if they're going through your jacket then you're the one who should complain.

He said breast Mosking

An insulated container shouldn't get any colder than when you put the vape in there, maybe somthing like a pouch inside an old thermos flask would work best and still be hidden from sight in normal workman carry

I'd keep it in my laptop bag as suggested, or since you don't want to bring it in, get an insulated pouch as suggested. Just put in one of those warm hands packs like hunters use in tree stands. Could also get a wood drip tip, something that wouldn't get too cold on your lips. I have no idea how it would wick if the juice got that cold though.

St. Louis, eh? My former hometown, and still the 'major city' I get local channels from. I have an office downtown but only get in there once every few years though.

Oh another thought, you could get a small stealthy vape to keep in your pocket so it's not out in the cold but isn't going to be noticed either. I recently got an eLeaf iCare to carry with me, haven't had time to test it much yet. The Juul is a really good cigalike that works very well too, about the same size as a USB flash drive.

Thanks for all the suggestions...I just came back to vaping in the last week, because I quit last winter...and started smoking again. This time I am getting the hang of it quicker and am determined to keep vaping. Somehow I know I will get any help needed RIGHT HERE! You Folks are the Greatest!!!
