RE: Wife's Birthday Approaching...
Here is my suggestion - the Tesla WYE. This mod has flown under the radar. It is one of the lightest mods on the market, very ergonomic and your wife might like the colours (my wife does). It works like a charm as well - so far no reported issues. And it is relatively cheap. I am ordering one for my wife to keep as a back up - will sit on the shelf awaiting duty. I'm going to get the pearl grey one. My wife does not like the green splatter on black - she did like the orange and yellow too. One of my good friends got the yellow one and has had it a month. My wife fell in love so now I'm footing the bill, lol. I did like how it felt in the hand too and it fired pretty well (not as fast as the Voopoo but ... ). My wife likes the simplicity of the menu. This is not a high end mod with a complicated menu (think dicodes, DNA, Yihi).

Now I like the IPV Vesta but I'm worried about that battery cover over time and the wrap peeling as well. I've had plastic battery covers break on me before. Otherwise it is indeed a nice looking mod with a very decent chip but you need to master the Yihi chip set. I like the Yihi chip seth - the Sx mini is still in my rotation after three years.

RE: Wife's Birthday Approaching...
Wife's Vesta still looks brand new if that means anything. No battery door issues, yet.

RE: Wife's Birthday Approaching...
For the last months I've been using a Wismec RX 2/3. I heard so many bad reviews about it but I never had a problem. I never go higher than 11W but I like to use a dual cell mod because I don't feel comfortable carrying around a spare battery in my pocket rather than in my mod. I really like the shape of it and it's aesthetics. I'm pretty sure many users on this forum will argue about my choice...

No one will argue Eddie. I always say as long as it works for you, it's the perfect choice. Period.

You wont get a argument from me. I have one and use it at home. It has been a good mod. I do tend to baby it a bit more than the others. I am opposite I would rather carry a extra battery and take a single battery mod out with me.

RE: Wife's Birthday Approaching...
For work i usually carry my pico 75 and 2 spare cells . My work day often involves runing from task to task and a small pocket size mod is ideal , i plan to get a second just so i will have a reliable pocket size mod down the road . Multi cell mods are nice for other times rather you want to bust big ass clouds or just dont want to deal with batteries and want an all day 50w vape .
In the end it's all about comfort and what shooe fits you .

When life hands you lemmons , make lemmon aid . When life hands you coconuts , stuff them in your shirt and ask if they make your boobs look big .

RE: Wife's Birthday Approaching...
Whatever is best for you is what is best for you...

I know what works for me. And hope it works for others.

But it would be a terribly boring world if everyone was as correct/right/wonderful as me Big Grin

Me, I have single-triple cell mods knocking around. What I use nearly all of the time is a single cell DNA75 mod at 19.1W.

I have a mod that will do 250W and more than one mod that will do 200W.

I don't do high watts though.

RE: Wife's Birthday Approaching...
Sorry for not chiming back in for a minute...

In the end I bought her the Dotmod Dotbox 75 (I know, single 18650 but the local B&M cut me a nice deal on it because I stop in often and give their employees lightly used e-juices that aren't working for me, shoot the shit, and lately, have been gifting those same employees with various attys that haven't suited me).
Got her the mod in blue... quite lovely looking and on her big day I think she will like it as well as like the footprint in her hand.

Almost got her the Pico but when I tried one I didn't really care for the fire button as much as on the Dotmod... that said, the hand feel and colors and finish on the Pico were quite nice!
