Which brand for 18650 batteries
I haven't order any 18650 dual batteries from IMR Batteries yet, any recommendations for batteries?

This is what I'm getting sometime this week https://vapenw.com/wismec-predator-228w-...-elabo-kit

Good morning 39th, as already said go with the LG HG2s - on sale at IMR for $6 each....I'd grab minimal 4 at that price.... Smile

A moment of silvence for the Sony VTC-5s, probably the best 18650 ever made.  Sad

AJ why the VTC5 and not the VTC4s? I read somewhere they discontinued the 5's and I don't want the 6's so I was looking at the 4's..... Sad

The VTC4s (as long as they are genuine) stand up to abuse better than most cells. The 5s are as good as long as they are genuine. Spas has some VTC5s that have held out better than other cells he's had.

That's why I posed the question Don. The VTC4s are great cells and I read somewhere they were discontinuing the VTC5s and introduced 6's or now maybe even 7's while I have always enjoyed the 4's.... Tongue

Sony doesn't want any of them to end up in consumer hands. They did stop making all cells for a while. They are appearing again but Sony doesn't like it and does what it can to keep them out of retail channels.

They are terrified of liability issues.
