RE: When do you stop?!
yeah, I gave up trying to find ways to limit it.  My vape is glued to my side and I hit it every couple of minnutes, all day, every day.  And I'm okay with this, lol.

RE: When do you stop?!
Go for making your own AJ!

It is easy, quick and simple.

But then my first degree was in Chemistry.

Find a recipe you like, buy the ingredients in bulk and mix up as you require.

My ADV costs about $40 per gallon!

I've maybe spent $50-$100 on hardware and a small fortune on flavours finding out what worked for me. I own several cubic feet of flavour concentrates.

Like I said, I used to teach chemistry so am used to mixing stuff up.

One of my recipes is being sold at about 70x the ingredient cost. And folks say this is very low cost for juice of that quality.

Find a recipe you like and make your own is what I'd say to everyone.

AJ, you would do this better than I do as you say you are all about attention to detail....

Yeah, mixing the base VG/PG/Nicotine isn't intimidating at all.  It's the flavors that have me worried.

It is simple. You do have to mess around a bit. Look online at flavours that might interest you.

Buy the ingredients for recipes that sound like they might work for you.

Mix the recipe up and wait a bit. With custards this wait might be 6 months for the best flavour.

But the time and money spent on experimentation is well worth it.

I'm super impressed right now, Don. I really don't want to add up all I've spent on hardware, but I'm 100% positive that it's upward of $400. Spending only $50-100 shows a helluva lot of self-control, my friend. Good

RE: When do you stop?!
It really differs for me. If I'm playing a game, I'll hit it between stages or when I'm at some type of stopping point (eg: between tracks in Mario Kart). If I'm around friends that vape, I usually hit it a couple times in a 30 minute span ( I like keeping the man cave fogged out Tongue ). If I'm around my buddies that smoke, I've got my vape in my hand, almost, the entire time to keep me from giving in and asking for a cigarette (old habits die rather hard). All in all, I say, hit it when you feel like you want to hit it. Keeping your hands busy is really helpful in putting it down for a bit and not feeling like you need it.

RE: When do you stop?!
This may sound nutty, but I actually time myself! Not in an anal way or anything, but roughly. I will vape about every 15 minutes. (Just a few draws usually do me.) Then there will be times during the day when I can't vape for an hour or two. The only reason I do it is that I'm planning on working my way down in nicotine and I tend to vape like made when I go down a notch, hence negating the whole "less nicotine" thing. I want to reduce my nicotine because jonesing is awful. I've tried going drastically down, was a nightmare and my family was afraid of me. Wink

RE: When do you stop?!
Most people actually find that their nicotine use declines on it's own.  As you upgrade your equipment you start to reduce the nicotine content of your juice.  Somewhere along the line you realize that you aren't as dependent as you used to be.  My nicotine intake is down by almost half in one year (the content of my juice is down 85%, my juice usage is up 300-400% though - total daily nicotine intake is about half) and I never noticed.  And this is from a guy who isn't even TRYING to reduce nicotine.  I don't care if I'm still addicted to nicotine - I'm still way more addicted to caffeine anyway, so who cares, lol.  Nicotine is't bad for you - it's the methods of delivery that are the problem!

RE: When do you stop?!
I totally agree Jaded, the device you use can very much dictate the nic level you choose, and you'll find yourself needing less as time goes by. When I started vaping, I was using 24mg then cut it down to 18mg for about a year while I used the same device the entire time, then when I got into RDAs I went from 9mg to 6mg down to 3mg, and lately I've been back up to 6mg since I've had a lot of stress in recent months coupled with the fact that I can't vape as often as I used to because of work and family disapproval. But really, from 24mg down to 6mg is crazy, and I never even considered wanting to cut the nicotine, it just sort of happened. I still use 12mg if I'm using a clearo like my Nautilus mini, but that's much less frequent and still only 50% of what I used to use.

RE: When do you stop?!
Yesterday afternoon, I was sitting on the patio at my local dive bar, enjoying my vape, a vodka soda and the first afternoon in a long while that it wasn’t raining, humid and/or about to rain here in Texas, when the most annoying person in the world came in. He somehow got the notion a while ago that we’re buddies, (I wouldn’t piss on him if he was on fire,) so he came over to pal it up. At that moment, I realized that if I were smoking a cigarette, I’d only have to suffer him for 5-7 minutes then I’d have a perfectly valid excuse to disappear into the bar long enough for him to glom onto some other unfortunate soul. But with the vape… he’s just gabbing away and I’m stuck, ruing the moment I decided to top off my tank before I left the house. When do you stop? When your mod overheats because you’re trying to vape 2.5ml in under 5 minutes!

There's no ‘I’ in ‘TEAM.’ There’s no ‘U’ either. It doesn’t appear the TEAM needs us, so let’s go grab a beer!Drinks
