When do you stop?!
This is my biggest issue with the switch to vaping from smoking.

With a cig, there's a definitive "end" to your smoke - and you make the conscience decision to light another one, or not to.  At some point, you look into your pack and go "oh snap - I've blown through half a pack in the last 2 hours, I should take a break!".

With vaping, I just go and go and go...  Until I either get a nicotine headache or just put the damn thing down for while.  We aren't talking obscene use here, but I'll kill my eGo-C 1100 battery by bedtime, and I refill my Pro-Tank mini daily.

Is this unusual, or is this "normal" usage..?  How does this much vaping compare to smoking nicotine-wise (I'm currently at an 18 as I just switched)?  Has anyone figured out a way to limit yourself with these things?!

RE: When do you stop?!
I started the way you did. I had my ego charging every night cause I was using it all day. It was never a big enough hit for me. I switched after 2 weeks to a nemesis with an Igo W dripper. Such a bigger lung hit. Found myself still vaping all the time. I have been vaping for about 3 months and go through a bottle of juice in about 4 days. Guess you just have to find you own trigger to put it down and take a break.

RE: When do you stop?!
LOL - yeah, and I understated my use now that I think about it - when I first switched, I had a slightly larger tank and battery.  The Ego-C is lasting all day currently (it's brand new) but I'm killing the Pro-Tank mini in 6-8 hours - so closer to two small tanks a day.  So a small vial of liquid is gonna last me about the same - 4 days or so.

Hmm.  Maybe I'll add a timer as a mod, LMAO.  Every 30 minutes it'll lock the thing up for another 30.  :-p

Welcome to TVF guys! Stop you say ? I didn't know we're supposed to stop.... damn! Smile

Eating and sleeping usually puts a bit of a dent in the vaping though which is a PITA Tongue

RE: When do you stop?!
Welcome to the family, guys!  You know, you bring up a very good point that I  never considered before.  When do I stop and take a break?  Hmm... I'd say at a number of things.  One is if a battery is drained and stops producing vapor like I'm expecting.  When my atty is drained is another.  I find that if I don't fill it all the way I don't vape as much.  I've been known to chain vape 4-5ml in a couple hours.  Only half filling a tank slows me down greatly.  Another is if I just get tired of vaping.  Odd as it sounds, I have no problem putting it down when I get bored or tired of it.  I'm not addicted to nicotine though and vape only 0mg juice.  I do it for the flavor and the juice really makes the call on whether I can't put it down or can't wait to put it down. Wink

RE: When do you stop?!
At work I usually pull it out and do 3 or 4 pulls and put it away. At night and on breaks, I just gape asbo feel the need for it. You'll learn soon enough when enough is enough. Started out st 36mg, and now am down to 18 mg after over 3 years. Each notch down I notice I chain vape for a while after the swap.

RE: When do you stop?!
I have found myself intentionally mixing flavors that are slightly "harsh".  I still like them, but they aren't super yummy and after a while I take a break from the flavor, lol.  For some reason this has been my solution.  So far it's mostly working.

RE: When do you stop?!
Stop.......... Smoking? IMMEDIATELY! Vaping? NEVER! My First vape on a "non-tobacco" flavor was the end of tobacco for me. I've never wanted a cig since. I have started weaning myself off nicotine, my next batch will be 18.
