RE: What's your everyday vape juice?
I bought Dead Throne’s Sanctuary yesterday and have killed three tanks of it already. It’s an 80vg/20pg, custard and strawberry. It’s more strawberry than anything; the custard comes across as more of a property than a distinct flavor, but still REALLY good; it’s gonna be my ADV for the foreseeable future. The clouds are so thick and heavy, I have to chew my way out of them!! This is the first time I knowingly vaped an 80/20; not sure if I can go back…

Did the Vapor Café website site work for you?? I tried to get Sweet Lucy yesterday and again a few minutes ago, and it won't accept my payment! Just keeps saying "Sorry we're unable to process your payment. Please trying again." (And yes, I've got money in my account!! Blum3)

But no biggie; I gave up and moseyed on over to Charlie Noble's site; got some Charlie's Custard on the way! Excited to try this one...

I am uncertain about the whole VG vs PG thing. I am told that VG is better and does not give you an irritated throat. The problem is. some juice sites don't give you a choice.

The way the guy at the vape store explained VG/PG to me (and I’m sure someone here can use the proper “big boy” terms) is that Propylene Glycol (PG) holds the flavor and is fairly viscous where Vegetable Glycerine (VG) is much thicker and is what is actually produces the “vapor.” While some retailers can and do customize the VG/PG ratio to order, I think most premium juices keep their ratios constant (and in some cases secret) for the integrity of their product.

There is also the issue of stock. Say you sell a litre of juice a week, if the juice needs steeping for a month you have to hold a bit over 4 litres of juice at a time only a quarter of which is saleable. Now offer every possible PG:VG ratio. Suddenly you have to hold forty or fifty litres of stock some of which may never sell. This does have a big effect on price you can sell the juice for.

Then some flavours need a minimum amount of PG or VG. My favourite apple crumble juice MUST be at least 70% VG or it has a horrible metallic aftertaste and is really unpleasant. At 80% VG it is lovely.

One of the few bought juices I use is 60% PG and that is the only ratio available. It certainly isn't stuff I'd vape at high power though.

I am new to vaping but Cereal Milk by Kilo is my ADV - very smooth, it has a nice sweet, yet mellow, after taste. Haven't found another I like better yet!

And to join in on the VG/PG discussion.. from what I have learned; VG is thicker, produces lots of vapor, gives less throat hit but does not hold flavor as well as PG. PG is thinner, produces less vapor with more throat hit but holds flavor better. Finding the perfect ratio might be different for everyone's tastes.

Ok that all makes sense. I never gave PG vs VG much thought because the last few bottles I have purchased never made the distinction, or gave you a choice. The local Vape store that I go to, offers juice that they say is made especially for the Atlantis tank. I guess that's true because the flavor is good and the cloud is good. I have to take their word for it I guess.
