Charlie's Custard is that good huh ?  What other Custards have you tried , have you tried "Custards Last Stand" , i know that one has been at the very top for years.

How about DIY Custard , i have some Capella's Custard flavor .
I think it’s that good (first juice I managed to need to refill my tank with 3 times within 12 hours,) but to each his/her own! I’ve not tried many custards except for what’s available at my local shops, primarily house juices that underwhelmed. I’ve generally avoided buying online based strictly on what sites “say” something tastes like. Charlie (and Sweet Lucy who’s in my mailbox as we speak) got enough positive responses in this thread, I figured I’d bite the bullet. So far, I’m not disappointed!

The only other custard I’ve tried that I really liked enough to buy a bottle of is Dead Throne’s ‘Sanctuary,’ a strawberry custard. The custard isn’t as prominent as in Charlie’s, but it’s there, and the strawberry, while more prominent than the custard, isn’t overpoweringly so, just a nice balance.

Oh, and I haven’t gone the DIY route yet, but the more I get into this, the more intrigued I am to try. I’m starting to pin down what I like/don’t like in juices, and while a lot of juices have bits and pieces of the things I like, I’m craving that ONE that just has it ALL. Not saying I’ll attaint that, but I think trying will be fun!
Speaking of DIY, I received my PG,VG and nicotine. Some bottles and several flavors. I'm ready to go. There is an APP called "Liquix" shows you how much of what ever you want to mix, and it keeps track of it so you can repeat the same recipe later. Lots of fun.

You could be more right than you know. I just don't get some of the crap that is happening. I put my subohm tank on my Istick and it reads 1.3 ohms??? My Xpro M80 VW box is good for 80 watts, but I'm choking on 40 watts. What is the point of 40 more watts. I am becoming disillusioned. Save Me!  Dash1

You sure you didn't put in a 1.2 ohm coil by mistake? I've done that before, definitely not fun when you're using settings for a .5 ohm. The SubTank really can't handle more than about 35-40W max anyway, you need to get yourself an Arctic if you want to know what the high wattage is all about Tongue

Yes Michael I did. I ordered replacement coils for my Protank2, and didn't realize they were 1.5 ohms actually. Being a noob, I assumed they were subohm. Lesson learned. Since i now have 1.5 ohm, what is a good and safe wattage to use?

I much prefer 1.5 - 2.4 ohm coils to sub ohm ing lol.   If you much prefer a sub ohm vape you will need to rebuild those coils much lower .   Go with less wraps .

I use wattage from say 10 watts to 17 watts with all my coils , different type vape but all so good.

I can't re-build. They come that way 5 in a pack. I also have pre-made coils for my RDA. They are rated at .5 ohm. Why can't I hit it. Even the slightest draw I choke my head off. I have 26 awg kanthal. How many wraps would you suggest? On my Istick and my M80, I vape like a son of a gun. As soon as i switch to mech mods i choke.

Rebuilding is absolute cake and it will open up your vaping tenfold and save you lots of money in the process,  do you think you can wrap a wire around a small screwdriver a few times ?  If yes you can rebuild.

If your using more watts than say 8 and 9 on a Pro Tank coil your going to get a horrific dry hit.  Those stock coils are no good for more than that .

Pro tank coils are some of the easiest to rebuild , i rebuild them for my Pro Tank II all the time , can handle watts up to 12 .

Ok what about the pre-made coil I put in my RDA? It's an actual wrapped coil I bought in a pack of 10. I can't even take a small hit without choking.

RE: What's your everyday vape juice?
The SubTank coils and the ProTank coils are totally different animals. The SubTank 1.5 ohm coils are supposed to be good at anything from 15-25W or so if I recall correctly. Should say right on the side of the coil in little tiny fine print beneath where it says the resistance.

Actually, I'm not really sure why ProTank coils even came into this discussion, since we're talking about the SubTank and an RDA, but no matter.

Those pre-made coils would work for the SubTank, you'll just have to bend them around to make them fit the RBA deck. I have no idea why you're having such a difference on the iStick vs. a mech mod. Have you put the RDA on your iStick or M80 to see if it happens there too? If it makes you choke even on those other mods, there's something wrong with your build. If not, that means there's something wrong with the power it's getting from the mod, most likely it's getting a lot more power from the mech mod and that's making it burn the juice too fast and give you a dry hit.
