What's bad about high watt vaping?
In almost all of my posts I've had people question why i need to vape at 150 watts, does everyone here really vape under 100? I'm most cloud chasing build I've built or used I've needed atleast 100 to get decent clouds. I'm also a fan of super sub ohm vaping, most of my builds are .1-.16 ohm builds and almost all of my cloud chasing friends vape at atleast 100 watts. Heck the new tfv8 (my daily driver) T10 coil (which I plan to get soon) and the Terra are supported up to 300 watts, I don't think they would make pre-built coils like that of they don't think anyone will vape that high. I will admit at 200-250w it does get hot, but vaping the Q4 and T8 coil at 150 only feels lightly warm, i do only take like 2-3 second hits though for some prettyassive clouds. When I first started I used a triton 2 at I think 40 watts, when I got my TFV8 I started at 65 and made my way up to 150 as I broke in the coils. For a while I vaped on it at 100 watts for a very cool vape, and anything under that really didn't give any clouds at all. Also sub question, what are your guys opinions on the 2 300w mods on the market, the rx300 and some other one that's a normal rectangular with 4 batteries and is very wide. A friend is thinking of ordering one but not sure which one. Thanks guys!

My coils I have in now are .11 ohms at 80watts and 410 degrees f. I'm  a cloud chasers and it great for me. As far as 4 cell 300 watt mods there are a few out now. I have the Ijoy Maxo that is 315 watts. I love it. It is the only mod I've had that will easily go all day without changing the batteries.

xiTzCriZx. There is nothing wrong with high watt vaping. I vape around 40 watts mostly using my RX200 because that suits me. Each and every person/vaper is different and each will have their reasons for the way they vape. As for the RX300 I may buy one when funds allow but I would probably never use all its power.

Vaping Saves Lives. To vape is to advocate..

There is nothing bad imo. But if I would have mentioned some cons, would have been the big juice consumption and sometimes, when in public places, you can annoy people with that massive clouds

What type of coils are they? I haven't gotten into temp control yet, my Rx doesn't read the coils right. What coils do you use to get that low at only 80? In tanks I usually use 4-8 coils and rda's are usually quad Clapton a or aliens that need a high wattage to even turn red lol

There's nothing wrong with vaping to excess, except for the vaping to excess bit Sarcastic_hand

I'm also a cloud chaser, my dailys are around 100w. I turn it up later in the evening or if I just want a bigger hit.

SS 316L fused claptons. 26/36 6 wraps on 2.5mm id. I'm not a tc guy but these coils are working so well in this tank on this mod I'm really liking it. I just change the cotton every other day and I'm happy.

RE: What's bad about high watt vaping?
My claptons are normally A1 22/34 6 wrap on 3.5mm, although I just moved and can't find my rda or wire so my old crapped up Q4 for my TFV8 is all I'm using and I've been using that at 150w for about 2 months, I should probably clean it but I'm still a bit skeptical about boiling it. It's not burnt at all, I've only dry hit it like twice for like half a second lol any thoughts on boiling them or ways to clean them for better flavor? I need to wait a week or two to pay bills till I can get more coil, friggin $20 for a pack of 3 coils is retarded for the tank.

RE: What's bad about high watt vaping?
Hi TCZ - You asked earlier if anyone really vaped under 100W. The answer is nearly everyone. High power is fine if that is your thing but normal vapers will be vaping at 30 - 70 Watts for DTL. MTL vapers will be around 15 - 40 Watts. Then there is me - squonking with a tiny Reo RDA at 8.3W. When I am using my dripping RDA's  I get carried away at times and increase the power to 11W but this just wastes juice, power, wicking and coils. Whatever you enjoy is the way to go - just don't get any ideas that vaping under 100W is somehow 'strange' and it is certainly not inferior in any way.
