What mod to start with
I was wondering what mod to start out with. Right know I'm using a etwist and kanger evod tank. I want to start with a cheap but good mod I was looking at the vamo but I don't know what tank to put on it I want a tank with a rebuild-able atomizer. Batteries for the mod are no problem I varmit hunt at night so I have allot of the 18650 batteries that are rechargeable. What is another good mod to start with a cheap rebuild-able atomizer that will fit. I would appreciate any input.

Well everyone's opinion are different on this.  As for mods I really prefer ones that take 18650's because you can get batteries that can handle more amps than 18350's so I would really suggest a telescopic mod for you. That way if you choose to use 18650's you can and you can still use your 18350's.

The K100 is a popular mechanical mod and you can use a kick with it to make it VV and regulated.

As for a rebuildable atomizer this is my favorite right now. But I prefer a smaller dripping atomizer. You get a little warmer hit and I like that. Some don't. The flavor on this one is excellent and it's supper easy to rebuild. It has post holes, which really is a must in my opinion. It also doesn't require a screwdriver or allen wrench.

Oh and I forgot. Welcome aboard!!

RE: What mod to start with
Its difficult to go wrong with a vamo tbh. They just keep going, will use any 18650 I have tried and any coil down to 1.2ohm. I still take mine everywhere I go.

At the moment my vamo has a fogger v2 on it which imo is a good match in terms of tank capacity vs cell capacity.  Be aware though,  the vamo is a big beast, with an 18650 and decent tank its around 8" long.

I use a varmint light VLR-1 250 lumnes green beam 250yd+ shine it's around $80 or so but if you buy the whole kit with all the parts its more but worth every penny either way you buy it. I use the barrel mount on my savage 17hmr with a 200yd illuminated scope great set up for fox and yote especially if you live in an area that only allows rim fire rifle hunting.

I wouldn't mind the size I mean I use to dip so I's going to be hell of allot bigger than a tin lol. The fogger v2 is that one I can rebuild with some wire and wicks on my own unlike the kanger evod? Also what would be a good site to order from I have a local shop I go too but there mods will cost me a arm and a leg compared to the prices I see online.

RE: What mod to start with
Hi buddy and welcome to TVF! hmm I used to hunt myself and the last thing you want is something that lights up when you vape no matter how dim... what seems like a tiny amount of light to a human eye is like a flashlight for many animals.

What sort of budget are you toying with ? I say that because around $150 you can pick up a bulletproof box mod with the DNA chip in there.

The beauty of the DNA chip is aside from many other feature, you're capable of running it in stealth-mode which completely turns off the display which is very handy when hunting.

As far as rebuild-able... for it's use in the hunting scenario you really can't go wrong with 18sixfifty's suggestion IMO

Yes a fogger is rebuildable.  In light of using it for hunting,  an all steel kayfun clone would be less fragile.

One thing though. I know your a lot further away from your quarry than I would be (I use 12ftlb air rifles 25yards is about your limit) but I would think that the odour from vaping would be a much bigger give away than the display.
