I've tried different ways but think it's just me i used to be good at fly tying and that has become impossible to do now to fidgety old age creeping in i think lol the cotton was organic Japanese cotton but for the price and ease and how long it lasts i think i'll go for the easy option lol

Hi Skyray - you are right - old age doesn't come alone - just enjoy your vaping.

RE: What have you got on order ?
I am thinking of getting a set of good quality small screwdrivers to add to my vape tools - I am fed up with the rubbish things you get with RDA's.

I'd avoid anything branded Rolson, Clarke, Silverline, Toolzone or Draper. They are made of very low quality Chinesium. The Starrett ones are excellent, but over 60 quid!

Like all other tools, Bahco, Brittool, and so on are worth looking at.

It probably doesn't matter much for general atty use as it isn't as if you should be applying much torque to them. The set I use most came from FT and cost under a tenner. I've seen this set under many different labels, probably any box like this contains the same quality. It has been usable for everything I've tried with it.

99% of the trick is making sure the screwdriver bit used fits as well as possible. Try more than one till you find the one that works best.

Thanks for the info. Don - I should have bought a set ages ago. It would certainly prolong the life of the screw heads in the RDA's.

Just pulled the trigger on a set by Geekvape for £9 [Image: tongue.gif]. Little damage done if they do not last long. It is not as if they are going to do any ''heavy'' stuff.

You bet. Chinesium screws plus Chinesium tools equals much annoyance. Once I swapped out the junk allen that comes with the typical atty for a Craftsman I already had on hand, I have not lost a single grub. Already have a good set of little screwdrivers too which is good, since the Fatality has teeny slotteds instead of grubs. Very irritating to see them round and strip!!

Poor quality post screws are a PITA - that is why I am so careful regarding the purchase of clone RDA's.

Still be nice not to need multiple alen keys , but the driver is nice and big hand friendly . Not only that the kit has all the odd shape tips , tweezers , a nifty magnet to hold the tiny screws .
Hyper Tough brand , les than 20 usd.

Dogs have owners , Cats have staff .
