I agree with that, but at the same time, if a new coil type came along that needed nothing but a quick burn-off every week or so, I would have it in my cart already. Heck, I already *know* I can DIY every aspect of it. I've nothing else to prove to myself.

It is not the point of proving anything - it is part of the hobby and messing about with wire and wraps and core sizes - I love that.

Less lazy and more awesome than that TW - look at all the work you did in the basement for a start - lazyness never did that and your beloved Durango - that increases your percentage of funny as well.
