RE: What have you got on order ?
Just ordered a 24mm RDA with ceramic coating. I doubt it is actually for me but will give me a chance to try out the 810-510 adapters. It's a Ystar Nuwa RDA as per 3FVape today.

Unless something ultra wonderful appears on the market my only purchases from now on will be replacements for future failures and juice making ingrediants - I have enough wire and cotton to last me the rest of the short life I have left - about 50 years worth.

RE: What have you got on order ?
I've been feeling that way for a while now Eddie. I just keep falling back to the same atty and the same two mods. In fact, since I can't find an IM anymore I basically bought out the remaining stock of ceramic chamber bits from FT. Along with the 6 or so full spare units, I should be set for a while.

I'd LIKE to get some new fancy whizz-bang, but I just don't see anything.

I just feel at saturation point - and like you I just cannot see anything that tempts me.

There was a mod with a skull head built into the body of the thing, and it looked really cool. But it is a single cell.

It's probably going to take a revolutionary thing like a replacement for 510 for me to jump, I think. DNA and Replay doesn't excite me. Stab wood doesn't excite me. Swirly colors that are all the rage these days doesn't excite me. No new RDTA designs excite me. Not even the RDA-centric squonking could persuade me in the end.

Come on, vape world!! Make something I can't refuse!!!!

RE: What have you got on order ?
I've always thought the 510 connector was a problem. I'd like to see a much larger diameter connector, preferably one that doesn't need frequent fiddling with. Something of around 20mm diameter, preferably with a quick attach/detach feature and more reliable positioning - look at the number of connection problems we've talked about. And the atties that screw down too far and knacker the mod's positive contact, or don't screw down far enough.

This was a solved problem with camera lenses fifty years ago. Take just about any interchangeable lens camera as an example. A 45-60 degree twist to attach and detach. No more deathtrap "hybrid" mechs. Much more stable connection that won't wreck the mod when you knock it in the wrong place. And it'd stop the Wismec trick of making 510 sockets out of case-hardened cheese.

Very precise positioning, multiple electrical connections, not that hard to make assuming CNC machines. But probably too expensive on runs of less than some tens of thousands.

The 510 drip tip seems to be dying though it is better suited for MTL than those 810 things. I'd like to see the 510 power connector go away too for something much, much better.

Too true!

The only really new thing I can think of offhand has been the Juul and its clones. Though it is arguable that they are just better designed cigalikes.

Temperature control (when it works properly) will be a giant leap in consistency. We are far from there yet.

I have more than enough mods, and mods that will meet any need I can think of. Including dangerous pseudo-hybrid mechs.

All I've bought lately has been two atties. One of which has yet to ship.

RE: What have you got on order ?
It is hard to imagine anything improving in the area of RDA's, the connection to a mod is the only obvious one - but this means new mods as well. The same really with RDTA's and RTA's - they are really just RDA's anyway. My older attys work just as well as the newer ones to be honest. Two things I don't like that seem to be happening is the increase in 810 drip tips which are useless for me - although with Don's adaptors he kindly sent me this is not a problem and the number of mods coming on to the market that adjust in full 1W increments - I will never buy one of those.

RE: What have you got on order ?
I liked 810 before it was cool. Pretty sure that's what the IM has, albeit a proprietary screw on one. It does have a 510 adapter that I will never use... And going much further back in time, the 13/9 had a rather wide bore option that I loved too.

RE: What have you got on order ?
Another thing that seems to be on the increase is the attys. that have no coils - being replaced by mesh or ''plates''. Making coils and wicking are a big part of the hobby as far as I am concerned.
