As some of you may know... I have been wanting the Magma for some time now... The 4nine looks like a great match to it.

Know the feeling. My FastTech cart has had just about every copper mod they sell in it at one time or another. Except the Pegasus - that's just hideous.

Currently it seems to have about 200 drip tips in it - just as well payday isn't for another week and a bit.

I got a good amount of drip tips stashed around, but I tend to just find one thats a good fit on the atty, and leave it there... Really need a stand that holds my mods, attys and tips so they are out and accessible, and not stashed away so I forget about them

I hate being a bearer of bad news but there is a very good chance those two will not work together. The 4Nine has one flaw in its design and its the shallow 510 threads in the top cap. They don't go down far and by the time most atties are fully seated only the last thread is usually contacting the threads in the 4Nine. The magma has a longer than usual 510 connection with all the threading at the end. When screwed into the 4Nine mod the threads go past the top cap threads and the magma will just spin and not tighten down properly. I run my magma in my Panzer because of this. The panzer loves the magma but the 4Nine won't work with it. Sad

RE: What have you got on order ?
Well now, that blows. Hopefully it works. You know if the 4nine has a common size top cap thread? maybe I can mix and match what I have to make it work.

I was thinking about getting the Panzer too, since they were basically made for each other. But saw the 4nine and opted for that instead...

RE: What have you got on order ?
I'm afraid the 4Nine has a funky top cap thread. Noting else here will fit it. My guess is it's something like M21x0.75.

It certainly isn't 20x1 20.5x0.5 20x0.5 or 21x1

RE: What have you got on order ?
I've hear from elsewhere too that atties will just spin on the 510 threads.

My idea would be to take a brass washer the same diameter as the top section with a hole in the center and use it as a spacer to bring the atty threads higher up. I'd be tempted to polish and solder it as a permanent fixture.

You probably only need 1mm maybe less, so it shouldn't affect contact with the positive pin on the cell.

Looking through the threads on that sku, I seen a picture of the Stingray topcap on the 4nine... The Stingray has been mated with the Aqua in hybrid, and not planning on separating it anytime soon... So maybe I will luck out and the top cap will fit. Though, that will add length to the 4nine

My Nucleus 1:1 Atty shipped yesterday from FastTech. https://www.fasttech.com/p/1746201
It looks to be the easiest to coil atomizer ever and very well designed and made. I'm looking forward to this one. 8)
