Laser in my messy front yard. Should have turned the cells flash off, but still pretty visible

RE: What did you get today?
Got a genuine GG SS tank for my (clone) Ithaka. Couldn't find replacements anywhere else. The SS tank section cost about half what I paid for the clone!

And a very cheap SS Nemi clone that doesn't have standard threads. I was planning to hybrid a 3D on it. Sad

But it does let things breathe through the 510 so the Squape is on it.

Ithaka now in the ultrasonic for a hot bath. Then I get to build it. Oh joy.

Even a nanometre of surplus wire and the (multiple expletives deleted) thing shorts. I think the Fluke will be needing a new battery by the time I get it built! The Ithaka is a fiddly bugger, I'll count the parts as I clean it and build it.

RE: What did you get today?
Fortunately they did clone the tank threads so the genuine GG bit fits. Must go and see how clean it is now. The plan is this will be the custard atty. If I can get it to work again Smile

RE: What did you get today?
Got the Ithaka built. Only had to tear it apart twice to sort out shorts. Around an ohm. The more complicated custard is still not ready - that's just under 2 weeks steeping. There are lots and lots of parts in an Ithaka - Imeo seems to like incredibly complicated designs.

There are 6 parts to the tank alone - not counting the 6 O rings.

This doesn't include the 510 and AFC ring - about another 5 parts. There are a couple of extra O rings in there to stop the 510 + pin from shorting on everything in sight.

RE: What did you get today?
Got the vamo V5 in from focalecig today. I forgot how long these things take to get hot. Also you need a fairly high ohm coil for it to run at all. Still pretty nice for the price. I'm waiting for my buddy to come back from his work assignment out of state to give it to him. He's a great guy and lets me beat the crap out of his drum kit without complaint. LOL. He is a great guitarist and I learned a ton from him while also trying to teach him drums. Plus he gave me a great set of Altec Lansing speakers that he picked up at a second hard store the last time I was over. He is also retiring so that's cool too. More jam sessions and that's always a blast. No more getting drunk with him but well there is an alternative that's close to legal in Michigan. Pleasantry

If the natural tendencies of mankind are so bad that it is not safe to permit people to be free, how is it that the tendencies of these organizers are always good? Do not the legislators and their appointed agents also belong to the human race? Or do they believe that they themselves are made of a finer clay than the rest of mankind?
