Kidneys are full of nutrition and rich in Omega3. If we have a steak pie there is always some kidney added as well.

The flavor of liver disgusts me- it's like sucking on a bag of pennies. But the texture is what sends me looking for the air sickness bag. Just fantastically disgusting. But I like poultry hearts and gizzards so I suppose I can't be too critical.

Unfortunately gizzards aren't realy a thing here , one of my favorite bits of soul food . Ironic that as an act of betterism the food bits that were deemed inedible and hence passed on tho those precived as less would turn out to be so delicious .
