The pasito with rba is legit. But what a pain to build - the deck is tiny and I'm old. Once built it vapes really well.

Still would rather vape my kayfuns on a small 18350-18500 though.

The RBA "coil" just arrived. It is rather small. Which is whyI keep around a powerful headlamp and a set of +4 glasses Smile

Then there's just my shaky hands.

The box it comes in is big enough to include a spare pod. But they don't.

Since everything goes in and out via the top of the thing there should be no problem keeping around a bunch of pods ready to go. As long as you keep them upright. Though after a while living in a jacket pocket and often being pulled out upside down there have been no leaks.

Thus far, all the pods they are making appear to be put into new mods, nobody seems to have spare pods just yet.

I'll need to dig out some wire suitable for around 1.5 ohms in a tiny space. You are definitely going to be building new coils every time you rewick this one.

You might want to enlist the services of a dentist for building the coils, those guys are really, really good at doing fiddly things in tiny spaces.

Probably a better way of going about it TBH, but if you don't try these things you won't know.

RE: What did you get today?
Just afew more things to do in my bathroom today , mounting the pedestal sink and a few cosmetic details . Untill i get my wallboard anyway . Got to put in the AC now that it's been mined out of the shed roomie isnt happy she was given 2 choices either she filter throug her free finds or i would start filling bags . Shed situation is still irritating me to no end , had to rip a pice of plywood yesterda and it took longer to get to my table saw than to do the job.
Looking for a more suitable hybrid pin to fit the TM2 , it's said to be hybrid compatible but as those of us who own one and know what we are doing are well aware it's by a very narrow margin . I've dropped a mod ans dented the positive end on a cell by just enough to make a potentially disastrous difference .
In the meantime its a comfortable 68f expected hig of 76 wit 58% Humidity , a nice day to get things done before a 4 day srech of high 90's . Yesterday was hot and rainy big system streched from Portland Maine to Port Henry New York , roughly 300 miles

Oops that was meant to go in chat hub . Srry
I belive admins can fix

Hi Chuck - TW is correct - you put a lot of effort into the forum and you are very special here - you can post it anywhere you like. It is always great to hear from you.

I was surprised how easy I found it to build. Yes it is tiny. But several of the reviews I've read thought it was nearly impossible to build. This is simply nonsense. Whoever wrote that has never coiled a Big Fogger. Or any Fogger prior to V5.

The RBA comes with a 510 threaded adapter you can stick into your building device of choice. Mine came from a Rose 2 clone, it's a solid chunk of stainless steel with a 510 threaded hole in it among other things.

Spun up 6 wraps of 0.25mm (30 gauge more or less, pedantically it is 30.01 gauge) Kanthal on a 2.5mm former. Found a cross-head screwdriver small enough to fit the minute post screws. Most of the smaller Blue Screwdrivers that came with atties will be fine. Or you can buy a set of especially tiny drivers. My current favourite set comes from Banggood and was very inexpensive. They are currently selling them for about $4 shipped from China or about treble that shipped from the US.

Bunged the flimsy coil in, wiggled it about till it sat above the air hole. Tightened down the screws. Cut a suitably sized bit of cotton. Shoved it through the coil. Juiced it so the cotton would stay in place, screwed on the cap and I was done.

I'll wait till the pod is nearly empty so I don't spill juice everywhere when I swap it in.

Honestly, it really isn't that hard to build, I didn't need my +4 glasses, I didn't need a ton of extra illumination. I just used my usual reading glasses and the usual tools. It took longer to type this than it did to build the RBA part.

If only because I am being heavily harassed by the Assistant who reminds me it is time he was fed.

His technique is to get his nose under your arm and jerk upwards violently. This makes typing hard.

So I'd not worry about rebuilding the RBA part, it was far easier than I expected and I'm no coil building expert. It measures at 1.725 ohms and Steam Engine says that should be best at about 10W. Well, it's getting 11... Smile

RE: What did you get today?
I'll try to do a video at some point.

I want to write full reviews on both of these and the Bohr one when it arrives.

While they are deliberately simplified devices, as long as they get the defaults right, there's nothing wrong with this.

The Galaxies MTL - at some point I'll want to get your opinion of it as well Eddie, I think you might like it.

I will be very interested to hear your opinion of these.
