RE: What did you get today?
I have the Sinuous 80 and the RX dual in the house. Both work great for me. It's easy to knock Wismec but they are true innovators. First with three batteries, first with small mech (noisy cricket) and I could go on. Also they had first cheap but really nice squonk (even though bottle kind of sucked) with a great atty. We know they are not high end but they do not pretend to be high end. And both their DNAs were rock solid.

They made a mod that looks like a shoe. On purpose.

The RX75 and Sinuous P80 mods are excellent...

How's the taste testing going Eddie?

Feel free to be extremely critical, I want to make these mixes better.
Hi Don - all the juice has been transferred to drip bottles and brought up to 18mg nic. I have tried 3 to date - they are the three with Acetyl Pyrazine. They are all a nice vape but number 7 - the one with Toffee Apple does not work very well for me. I am sure it is to do with mixing TA and AP and I think the Toffee has quite a lot of Vanilla in it. One thing that is noticeable however is the aftertaste - it does not last as long as with the old juice and I wonder if this is to do with the new steeping method. The smell off all three is really nice and that seems to linger - it was the first thing my wife noticed. Also - number 6 - the AC with the AP tastes just like M&S's Apple turnovers. I am going to take a couple of ml and add a few drops of Grahams Cracker - I think it will be a great Apple Strudel[Image: smile.gif]. I will be trying more today and I will keep reporting back over the coming weeks - this test is in it's early infancy - it has a long way to go. I am really enjoying this. If there are other things you would like a comment on regarding the juice Don just let me know - in case I do not cover all the bases.

RE: What did you get today?
This is great Eddie, just what I was looking for. AP is stuff best used in tiny amounts, I reckon the 30ml bottle of it I have will last nearly forever. I could still smell it in the kitchen days after mixing.

I also think the Toffee Apple is best used as an addition rather than on its own.

AP is one of those things that it is easy to ruin a mix with.

RE: What did you get today?
Hi Don - AP could be like menthol I think - it would totally take over in any kind of higher % than just a few drops. I really like number 6[Image: smile.gif].

RE: What did you get today?
Been trying Don's sample juices today - numbers 3 to 5.
Number 3 is AC and Fuji Apple ratio 8/2. Number 5 is same flavours ratio 9/1. Both are nice smooth juices but number 3 is the better of the two - Fuji Apple is really nice so I could be a bit biased here.
Number 4 is AC /TA/FA - ratio 7/2/1. It must be just me but I cannot get away with the Toffee Apple - the Toffee seems like 99% Vanilla and masks the Apple too much.
The juices are all really pleasant and more than vapable with no harshness but again the aftertaste deos not last - this is certainly due to the steeping process.
What I have now done is run off 5ml of each and put them away for a while to see if this changes anything.
The trial continues - my next step is taking them to higher power to see where and how the flavour decreases - I want to do this to see if the tolerance level of the juice - power wise - is less than with other juices - if it is, then that coincides with the aftertaste difference - I am really enjoying this exercise - great fun. Thanks Don for giving me the opportunity to do this - you are a champ.

RE: What did you get today?
Believe me, before the accelerated steeping they were all harshness.

Think the sump in a chemical factory...

The change is amazing.

I must make up some AC with VG nic and only VG for you to try. It's a different juice, you get the crumble but hardly any apple.

RE: What did you get today?
That's really very cool and encouraging to read Don. When you say it works, especially on juices you count steep time in years rather than months, that is really saying something.

AP is a real shame for me. Early on, I used it far too high and developed that corn chip vibe sensitivity that pretty much precludes me from using it again. When you say 'tiny amounts', even that could be too high. Super sparingly for sure!

RE: What did you get today?
I reckon anything above 1% would be pushing it. I reckon 0.25-1% is where it might help. I reckon graham cracker as an alternative might be well worth experimenting with.

I've not tried any of those mixes Eddie has other than to make sure they didn't strip the lining of my throat.

I also had a bad cold so really couldn't taste much at all.

But it has certainly proved your thesis TW - and many thanks for that.

This could be a really deep rabbit hole to go down....
