RE: What did you get today?
I was told i needed glasses years ago so had them on all the time for the first few months, then i realized they wrecked my eyesight! So now i only wear them when I'm driving on back roads, I can still read the screen better without them lol, Well I got a parcel yesterday and forgot to open it till just now 25 unicorn type bottles guess I'll have to have another mixing session very soon Smile Loads of new juices to try Good

RE: What did you get today?
I got a nice range of dry flies for my trout fishing - they flew all the way from California so are quite exhausted and are recovering in one of my fly boxes with other friends.[Image: smile.gif]

The booby is banned in our club. My favourite dry fly by far is the Griffiths Gnat - about 75% of the fish I catch are on this fly. The reason the booby is banned is because it is so bouyant folk use it as an indicator - in my book indicators should be banned too[Image: biggrin.gif]

It's banned on 3/4 of the ponds around here but were it is legal i enjoy using it, it makes a change to my normal way of fishing Smile i mainly use it with a fast sinking line as a lure Smile not sure what you mean used as an indicator?

Hi Skyray - It is very bouyant and is used the same as a float with the main wet fly underneath - you are using two lures in other words.

I've liked an adams , but much of fly-fishing is dependent on area . Round about mid june i find a Flying ant efective too. I'm so out of practice with a fly rod now it's almost funny

Dogs have owners , Cats have staff .

The parachute Adams is quite deadly at times here - but it is short lived spells - sometimes by the time you realise that is what they are taking it is too late to change.

A moose mane adams can be particularly deadly here , especially off the beaten path

RE: What did you get today?
When I am fishing over in California the Adams does well late in the season - it is my first choice on still water.
