RE: What did you get today?
I got a real surprise ten minutes ago. Fanfare rung on the doorbell, the Assistant barking his lungs out, then the postie handed me a parcel. First time I've had mail before lunchtime in years. I now have my stand to use an angle grinder as a cutoff saw.

Now that's early especially just before Xmas! Let me know a price for a couple of stands that holds 10 or 12 tanks each when you decide on a price, must hold up to 25mm ones Good Smile

I reckon a 30mm hole spacing ought to cover that. The metal becomes a little less manageable much past a foot long. The milling table has a movement range of 180mm or six holes.

A ten hole one would be a quarter inch over a foot which is doable. Price depends on the metal cost and time obviously. Postage is likely to be a significant chunk of the price. Just checked and the amount of metal comes to about 8 quid. Marking out, drilling and tapping will take a couple of hours (It does take time to be careful with this stuff.) Postage would be around a fiver or less.

Would you want it mounted into wood (Which I can't do) in which case I'd drill and tap two or three M5 holes in the back of it so you can bolt it into the wood.

Alternatively I can stick on some felt feet which are cheap enough. Or investigate how much felt costs and cover the entire base.

RE: What did you get today?
I'm almost in a position to start manufacturing these. I'd love a milling machine which could then do it in my sleep Smile

And the hospital postie just turned up with some cotton pads. Thanks Skyray!
