RE: What did you get today?
And again, the is a job for Don the Legend. But your charge rates strike a question in my mind... The recommended charge rate for the LGHG2 (which I can't remember) is what the i4 is set to, conveniently enough for me. Yes it takes a while to charge, 6+ hours, but that's OK with me because I want the cells to last as long as possible. I don't want to fast-charge them. Is the Miboxer 'good' for cells to be charging them so quickly, or will the burn out faster than a slower charged cell?

I don't like charging my 18650s and 26650s any more than 1a i think any higher and it will shorten there life far better to have plenty of spare batteries so they last longer and it doesn't matter how long it takes them to charge Smile

Aren't you supposed to use slot 1 and 3 first before using the other slots ? for them to work properly ? i think i read it on one of the chargers

You can adjust the maximum amount of Amperes which the Batterys gonna charge (Each slot is available for customization), but I don't think that it will shorten there life so much that it counts. Also then you can say too that not using your Batterys shortens there lifes too.

I thought that too, but why should id bother the Charger if you throw in first 1 then 3 then 2 then 4 or start with 4 to 1 or first 2 then 3 or 3 then 2 .. Every combination should work, but somehow I think that it has some logic, I read in the manual but I found nothing.

I think it actually does significantly shorten their lifespan, which is why I am asking for Don to weigh in with his ample girth. Of knowledge, I mean.

Yeah on the bt c3100 you can adjust it to what you want but you can charge them to fast to cause them to shorten there life 3a i think is a bit to high but it all depends on the batteries that are been charged, I only charge my aaa and aa batteries at .500 any higher and i think it could damage them, i know any higher and they do get warmer

RE: What did you get today?
It will decrease the cyclelife for sure, but it always depends on situations, I will adjust the Amps a bit lower I guess but I don't want to charge anymore over night and the whole Day, that is a waste of time for me, because everytime I have to be present for it. When I got the time okay but sometimes I just don't have it and then this is perfect. I would rather buy new cells then charging the way I did until now Spiteful
