Hair dryer it is then, I suppose if it gets to hot it will do the batteries no good, The longest i've had 18650 batteries is 10 years for my torches and in that time about 6 have packed in with me yet i've not damaged any of the wraps so i'm hoping i'll never have to use them through i think i like the idea of using different colours for pairs ect so they can't get mixed up, Marker pens i dare say will fade in time if its anything like plant labels lol

Skyray, if you haven't done it before - start on the positive end (don't forget to ensure the small white insulator is there) and gauge it from the amount of wrap on your existing cells and once the tip is wrapped, then work your way down to the sides and bottom....

I remember my first wrap took 10 minutes - seems like an hour..... these days I use a heat gun when wrapping as I tend to wrap multiple sets at once since I'm doing it anyway! Smile

Best to use less heat than that.

I get the best results by starting in the middle and working out to the ends.

What's best to use ?

Hair dryer is best but my Mrs got one of those funny ones so I hold the heat gun a foot away.

RE: What did you get today?
Picked up a Dreamer mech with a M-terk RDA both black ceracoted. I really wanted to check out both these devices as I heard great things. The Dreamer is a mid range mech tube (95 USD). That is not really a lot for a well machined hybrid tube. The switch is very nice indeed (spring - not magnets). I'm not getting any hot button pulls even if I chain a bit (hard to when it hits so hard TBH). The M-terk exceeded expectations as well. Whay a nice RDA. Easy to build, great flavour for a chucker. And it chucks.

This seems to be a Canadian thread - they are all over the bloody place - a cull might be in order[Image: tongue.gif].
