LOL. I think I only have around a dozen lights. Once I get something better thats incredibly close to something I have I usually sell the inferior one or give it away

RE: What did you get today?
for me there are only a few categories. Thrower. Got a heavily modded 3A XM-l with a reflector the size of a house. Flooder. 2.5K lumens. Past that, I have a car with a 1.01kVA alternator..Headlamp - I have a 450 lumen throwy one, or a 120 lumen floody one. Handlheld? How many lumens? Who cares? Does it do what I want it to? Yes. For any conceivable set of circumstances.

RE: What did you get today?
Today I got a V9 VV/VW in I paid $15 for the complete kit off of a Flea Bay Seller.

Same model as this only with two 16340 batteries and a charger. What's not to like at that price?

http://www.fasttech.com/product/1351800-...-cigarette

What's not to like?  Well I don't know maybe the fact that it looks like a marital aid? Or how about the lousy run time with two 16340's? It will drain you batteries if left on. It's also huge. Well that alone would  kill the deal. But the worst part is the mode switching. It's obnoxious as hell. One button, hit it enough times and if you are lucky you get to the menu, Hit that just rights and you might be able to get to the rest of it. I thought if nothing else I could use it as a cheap Atty/ohms tester. Well think again, anything too low and it treats it like a short and gives an error message. Too low? Seems like anything under 1.5 or so.

On the plus side it does work and it deserves A Trophy for the wall of shame!

If the natural tendencies of mankind are so bad that it is not safe to permit people to be free, how is it that the tendencies of these organizers are always good? Do not the legislators and their appointed agents also belong to the human race? Or do they believe that they themselves are made of a finer clay than the rest of mankind?

They belong in a trustfire mini that is on a keychain and rarely used not an e-cig. Impulse buys are the worst always. I need to make a rule, no buying anything after 2am.
