RE: What did you get today?
Thanks guys. My step dad has worked there 10 years or so and he likes it. Taking about a $5 hr hit, but the overtime at this place is way better than where I work now. I would have to be at work at 3:30 am instead of 7 am if I wanted week day overtime. At this new place I can come in early or stay late.

I was hoping to get a third shift position, which is friday saturday and sunday nights ,12 hr shifts and get paid for 40 hr... but I will have to wait for an opening

I'm really happy for you, Pulsar!  In know what it's like to drive 40 miles each way to work every day.  Considering the gas you will save commuting, that $5 pay cut isn't all that bad.  Less stress and more job enjoyment makes it all worthwhile.

Eventually.  The chimney tube on this KFL is wider than most so the O-ring I.D. will too large for the nano chimney tube.  I will need to find a proper O-ring in order to use the kit.  Dash2

RE: What did you get today?
Good haul today. The receptionist forgot to call me to tell me he'd a package yesterday. Which had another Aqua, another SS Taifun GT tank, a Trident V1, and 4 jade drip tips. They came Swisspost and probably left on the same plane as the China Post one with stuff ordered 2 days later. Oops. Crappy phone cam pic.

The China Post order had a bunch of 510-510 adapters (For an atty stand), some juice bottles with needle tips, and a Gaia atty.

So building time tonight. Pity today is not a public holiday in Scotland, though it is in EnglandSad

But Bank Holidays in Scotland just mean that the banks are shut, everyone else is working.

RE: What did you get today?
Got the Gaia built. Quad twisted 0.3mm Kanthal, dual coils, cotton wicks. Comes in at between 0.2 and 0.3 ohms so calling it 0.25 ohms.

The post holes will only just take wire of this thickness. The second coil got its leg wrapped round the positive fixing screw as there was no way it was sharing the hole with the previous positive leg.

5 turns round a 2mm drill, torched and squished a few times. Pics in a while. Very airy. Lots of clouds. Now wait till I put my lungs back...

It even comes with spares! Two extra O rings and three little screws for the posts - now that is a good idea. Along with some silica with coils on it (4 bits in total, and the usual tiny screwdriver.
