RE: What did you get today?
So I got my vandy vape mesh RTA on top of my second pulse today. This RTA was made for squonking. You stuff that bugger with half a bag of cotton and then squonk a quarter of your bottle into it, lol. I used the NI80 mesh. Kit comes with NINE pieces of mesh. That is good for a year.

I cannot recommend the pulse enough. The price is outstanding. I changed the bottle (used the fast tech silicone in black in both), I pinched the lock mechanism (you have to get a good connection). I found FIVE prong joys (the four prong 20700 suck). So a little bit of fiddling yes. The bottle it comes with is actually too soft and I like soft bottles. The lock mechanism needs slight adjusting (just a slight pinch - you don't want to crack it). Otherwise excellent in every aspect. Like the feel. Like the box. Like the button. Like the 510. And guys, trust me, I've used high end mech squonks for quite some time. This is as good because I can take it out of the house and not worry at all (got two to be safe, lol.).

Like Eddie my next squonk is going to be the Fuchai too and I'm going to put a B2K on it. B2K is a made in Toronto RTA that rocks solid. Life is good. So many squonks coming out that rock - Capo, Fuchai, Athena, Pulse ... on and on. And I still like my Pico squeeze. I remember my first Reo and thought life could not be better. Had the matching RTA (now in Eddie's hands). I was so wrong. Life could get better. Bring on your new laws ... I'm set.

Made a simple FC parallel build with my newly acquired A1 26/36. I was right; flavor and vapor is a pretty decent improvement over the 28/40. The 40 was just too thin.

RE: What did you get today?
Higher resistance, fewer wraps, lower thermal capacity, smaller contact area.. a few reasons I can think of tbh.
26g is my go to, somtimes 24g but not often, rarely thinner unless it's a multi core wire I'm making. I prefer a 38g wrap to 40g but that's mostly due to ease of use.

RE: What did you get today?
Manta and 5s..

[Image: LLapj6n.jpg][Image: kKd0qq4.jpg]

Manta is meh imo, flavour is a bit mute and it best lends it's self to a 5 wrap 3mm fc at the most. I have a 7 wrap in atm and it's slightly over coiled. Airflow is a ok, little tighter than I expected but tolerable.

5s is ok, fill hole is pisstakingly small and awkwardly recessed, tiny capacity. Flavour and airflow are excellent, looks kick ass in gun metal too.
