RE: What did you get today?
The K101 from focalecig that I paid for 43 days ago. It came with a cartomiser which is not something I've ever used so I've filled it up to see what it's like. It looks distinctly odd with a Taifun GT on it, though not as odd as the Private V2 looks with a cartomiser on it.

I hope Focalecig read this and realise how ridiculously unacceptable that level of service is. I won't be ordering from them because I would be throwing my toys out of the pram if I had to wait 43 days.

Well I'm glad you got it in the end Don.. It's a great mod IMO, not pretty but tough as nails and just does everything effortlessly.

43 days???  Holy cow, that's horrible!  I'd about given up on it long before then.  Now that you have though, was it worth the wait?  I know Spas loves his.

RE: What did you get today?
I think with a suitable resistance atomiser and an 18350, it'd make a neat little device. Since what I grab normally is half an ohm or less, it's not going to see a lot of 18350s though. It looks slightly odd in 18650 mode, has a pure dead brilliant (As they said in Weegieland when I was a wean (OK, OK Glasgow when I was a little kid)) reverse threaded locking mechanism that works very well. It's only been in my possession for an hour and a half. Time to sneak out and give it a good try out.

To be fair to them, it did say on the email "-----------------------------------

Though I don't remember anything about lead time on the Web page. But then it was 6 weeks ago...

I must be mad, I ordered a Kayfun clone from them on 5th April. Wonder if it will take as long. The email this time said nothing about lead time.

RE: What did you get today?
Got a new job today. It pays less, but its only 18 miles away vs 42 away. Less union dues, less gas, no parking fees, better bonuses... Been trying to get into that fab shop for a few years and they are finally hiring again.

Just need to do the physical and drug test Friday, which is no problem

It should. Its all gravy welding compared to what I normally do. No mirror welding, no pipe diving, no crawling around the inner bottoms of ships.
